This wouldn't be possible even if you took the territory and the fort was destroyed, since you can't build on occupied locations.

Oh, my bad, I'll correct this.

It's too late now, I guess, but do territories taken on the same turn as the capital auto annexed as well, or just the ones which were occupied on turn start?

The annexation happens at the end as usual, so all territories moved onto (which happens first) are also auto annexed.

First off, you erroneously cancelled my research deal with Alabard. Or at least the spoiler is incorrect.

Spoiler was wrong. When I was scrolling through page I mixed your name up with the Aethonian Empire. On the spreadsheet it's still showing you as a Research Partner.

Also I'm a bit confused by your movements, since #1 has no railroad to allow more than 1 army (the one stationed at #3) to move into #1, and that'd be used up for the Fleet construction.

Also Movements (including Embark) are always done before construction (including Fleets), so that would take another turn. Embark is also a full movement by itself.

Does embarking take up a full turn for both the fleet and army, or only for the army?

Confusion is a typo, should have been a move from 2 to 1. (And one of the units that moved to 3 should have gone to 2)

It's only for the army. Basically it's to give some forewarning about naval attacks unless they're well hidden. I'ma see about fixing map for next turn.

So, just for future reference  ;), what's the policy on drop out and turn skipping?

There wasn't one, though I'm thinking any turn not updated within 48 hours of the last post may be due for a skip.

As for dropping out of the game... Also up in the air. May just revert provinces to neutral and make it a landgrab.

Would be terribly unfair though, for anyone not near the landgrab.

In fact, such an easy/early victory might determine the entire game.

Yeah, I think it's better to just have the country in question become a NPC.

Planning on quitting?

Yeah, I think it's better to just have the country in question become a NPC.
NPCifying sounds the most fair, perhaps a dropped country could be inherited waitlist-style though if someone was willing to take it.

True enough. I guess the fairest method would be to NPCify them, or open the slot for another player to replace old leadership (and NPC if/while nobody responds).

+1.
(I was thinking pure waitlist, but since we already have a mechanic for NPCs, it's even better this way)

Nah, I just wanted you to know how to do it.

Was this for me?  Because I'm Allabard.
