Yup, but only when I start to research that technology, which is at best next turn.

So that's 20 RP over 2 turns (10 per turn), or about 50% of the bonus I get for having a blueprint. (7 libraries*3 = 21).

Side note, can you trade blueprints or do you need to finish the tech before you can pass it onwards.

Actually, I have a question: is blueprint research entirely different from normal research? Let's say I start researching a project A, then once I'm halfway through it, I get the blueprint. Do I keep the RP and get the bonuses, or do I need to start again?

About to head to bed but quick answers to Blueprints:

Since all RP gains are done at the start of the global turn, if you get a Blueprint in the middle it doesn't take effect immediately. However, since it operates under the same basic system as the rest of technology (albeit with a bonus) you don't need to start "Researching the Blueprint" as if it were a new tech.

And I'll see about where I screwed up on Jarno's turn after I wake up.

Edit: And Fleets are built at the end of the turn, so miss out on the movement phase. I realize that they're not ideal for sneak attacks but they're there for additional threat ability more so, and a means to avoid the chokepoints in the SW. While a Nation that's low in size and focuses on Research Pacts won't have a lot of room to build fleets, those with +Max Army traits and more Trade Deals can easily afford a few of 'em.

Can people retrade blueprints they get, or do they need to research the tech first?

I'd like that, but then the PSFDR will probably be dead without having any chance to do anything. That does not seem very fair, although it would be advantageous for me. It was rather a reminder to tiruin to post.

Question: what happens with retreating armies who attacked via railroad? Back to original space, or to province in between?

In between. Or the last province they were "at" in a movement chain, not the original province.

I'm not sure how I got the blueprint of explosive shells, but if I got them, I should have finished the tech immediatly.

You're right. Had you listed as one less Academy in the sheet. Finished and complete.

And I am counting 10ebbor10 as having Blueprints for Explosive Shells so that was more of a cosmetic error in the update info section.

Nope. To stop 'em they'd need to be on the sea province instead of docked.
