If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

Great, now the Lady Eveline dislike us.

Sneak out to spy in the gardens

Sleeping is boring anyway.

I wouldn't say dislike per say but wary that we may get her Daugher preggers. She is a MOM you know?

+1 to sneaking out and get Redford. If he asks just tell him we can't sleep and don't want to look guilty of anything if caught.

Maybe use our sneaking to leave a token of our interest in Feyna's room?

Why? Plus what the heck do we have?

Lets just go to sleep. If we get caught then our public image will be in tatters and we'll never be trusted again for these tasks.

"I see thank you. So i heard your family has a matrimonial marriage law in place where whatever man marries you is a leafsong from then on. Tell me what does a name really mean?"

"I was branded and treated with distrust everywhere. Like an outlaw until house blackfire gave me a shot to prove myself. So it comes down to this: Will society allow me be Knighted? I'm afraid my road is harsh and my swordsmanship can only get me so far."

Philosophical bombs ahoy.

EDIT: I like shebs idea actually. Makes more sense.

You need to be smoother man.

*Take her hand* "My lady, those words touch my heart. But what are you doing here? Aren't you afraid of the consequences? What if someone find out?"

No, we don't want to bang, as sheb is trying to lead on to, no doubt.

-1 to that, as well.

"It's fine. Listen everyone on edge over this so lets just go to bed. We'll talk in the morning Fenya."

We cant have her so close to us at this moment. Young love isn't good and although i'm not above marrying Honso to her it could damage us in terms of getting Knighted.

Plus even Redford is suspicious.

Gigla: We don't have to bang. It'd be a terrible idea, with really bad consequences. But sustaining a romantic interest? Sure, it cannot hurt us.

Keeping her as an interest is what I am going for. Although i'm on the fence if someone may be listening.

Try to be more smooth, but also not leading to boning.

Hmm.

Give me a second, this might need thought.

Gigla: We don't have to bang. It'd be a terrible idea, with really bad consequences. But sustaining a romantic interest? Sure, it cannot hurt us.

The more romantic we are right now, the bigger the chances:
a) Hatkitty decides we do anyway
b) We upset or offend her by blue-balling (or equivalent term) Miss Leafsong here.

So we have to have some finesse.

That eavesdropping idea was cringy to see, though. I'm assuming we're trying to be a vaguely honourable knight. Not really good behaviour - or behaviour liable to make us shine in the eyes of our peers, either.
