Well, that went quite well.  We've got a base!

Let the fighters get within range of at least two AA turrets, then blow them out of the sky.  Nothing fancy here; lure close, broadside them, small chunks.

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.
God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

Actually, it might be better if we shoot them down so they only crash. That way we have a chance of recovering the transports and some more equipment. If our AA fails to take them down, our Darts will give chase instead.

Let's have engineering fix up the base and build a jail. Equip our remaining recruit with decent weapons and armour and arm our officers with better weapons. Our uninjured marines will guard the prisoners, Hensen will continue training our recruits, Donnely will oversee the repairs to the base, and Lip will make sure the two transports get shot down.

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

Gotta make sure to make the disappearance of two ships inconspicuous. Dunno how though.

We can't be inconspicuous. What we need to do is make a start-up military in this sector so it can grow and get more powerful while we move on to the next sector and do the same.

What other sectors are there? Low-security ones such as this residential one are preferred.

Given the current climate I don't think 2 transport warrants excessive reaction from the Uarks.

The worst is that they just send in a capital ship and fry us. That's when we are to pick up our asses.

What's your problem, here? Is it with trying to capture the transports or engaging the transports in the first place? They're going to arrive no matter what we do and it's bets if we engage while they're still in the air. Trying to capture the transports by shooting them down will provoke an equal response as if we just blew them up.

Focus fire on one of the transport
Call the fighters and the Telemachus to help dispatch the transport
Bring the prisoners to some kind of shed not connected to the rest of the pressure structure, then strip them from the EVA suits. No escaping that way.

Dispatch a message on the moon telling them they're free from the garrison, and asking any Uark patrol to surrender.

-1. Let's use the HQ's tracking equipment to find any Uark patrols (the transponders must send a signal somewhere, right?) where we can dispatch them with the recruits - if we want them trained faster, the Darts - if we want it done quickly, or the Telemachus - the safest and most overkill option.

Kinda risky though. No chance we could also have the Darts sweep in if things go badly?
