He doesn't seem to have too much HP or Defense though, so I might succeed.

For me it just REALLY depended what level my opponent was.

It is a lot like the start of pokemon where you have type disadvantage but it is before the opponent can really take advantage.

Yeah, but in my case, if I hadn't gotten lucky my opponent's type advantage was enooormous. Ghost against something that only has Normal Moves? Thankfully my Riolu has Foresight (which is probably why the GM decided giving my rival a Ghost-type was okay) but if your Munchlax had to go against it he would have been screwed. (Unless Odor Sleuth lets you hit Ghost with Normal.)

Personally I get the impression of a somewhat whiny, somewhat fast-speaking person who stumbles over their own words occasionally and sticks their nose into absolutely everything they can. Extremely black and white view of justice.
Have you ever played Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor? Your character keeps remind me of Midori. >_>

Is that what you're looking to make your character into? (Bear in mind these are just my impressions after only seeing the character for a small amount of time. xD)

No no I have not.
And that is not what I  aiming for. A child-like aditude but he has brains to back things up and he only really hates human on Pokemon violence .poke to poke or human to human not so much. He was raised a breeder and so the love of Pokemon is rooted deep into him, that is why Randall pisses him off so much.
