Build Academies in 10, 9, 17. Send 2 armies to 15 and use them to build a Military Base. Research Explosive Shells.

The Army has been begging for years to be allowed more room to train, Minister Falconi finally acquiesced today when he agreed to build them a shiny new mustering ground if they promised not to decommission the old one. My papa was stationed at that place back when he was a trooper. I'd hate to have to tear it down, it's a perfectly good facility on it's own, so we're preparing to order that one refurbished as well. I think the federal workers deserve a little love after the domestic renovations that have gone on this past decade or so. The Minister later followed this statement with a declaration of a new holiday in honor of Guniland's loyal protectors: Soldier's Day. And there was much rejoicing.

In a not-quite so surprise move today, the Council of the PRoWM has approved the passing of bill 1900-1-7321. To quote from the speech made by the representative of the research commune in (69), "To ignore one of the most populated regions of the continent, one is simply ignoring the chance for technological progress. Bill 1900-1-7321 will change this, by constructing a network of schools and universities in those regions without them. It is estimated that this move will increase local literacy by a factor of three." Indeed, this is a fine day for the Peoples Republic of Western Minar.

 Another story in the paper mentioned the start of troop movements to the western border, officially for training.

Wee, I can close the notepad this was on in the first time in three days...

The Northern Union considered its position.  The old and stagnant Kingdom of Radman separated it from all the other younger states.  If they wanted war, they would have to cross the Kingdom to get to them.  Isolationist powers held the Senate for now.

Khan Rhani issued orders to double their current capabilities to field armies, and ordered more of the Horde to the northern front, along with sending supplies of explosive chemicals to the acadamies for further studies.
It was a good day for the republic, with many more to come.

Population of border provinces was told not to worry; these were just normal defense projects and army movement was purely for training purposes.

In the more peaceful northern part of Empire of Steel, a scientific institute was built.
