Well, we had an alien ship shot down within walking distance of XCOM, so I told some troops (Icy Tea, Cyra Hayes, Akami Akeem, and Darkening Kaos) to walk out there and get the aliens off of XCOM's lawn. Cyra Hayes did not return alive, (Two aliens hit her through smoke and past half cover, sorry Tiruin. I even made her a nanofiber vest!) and Darkening Kaos was promoted to sniper after killing his first alien.
Sadly, because we didn't send the skyranger, there is no recordings of the mission. (OOC, my brother closed the window uploading photos and deleted them off of steam, so they are all gone. Sorry everyone! I will run a second mission tonight instead.)

We completed Xeno-Biology and Alien Materials, and have a day left in Weapon Fragments. I would have finished them, but something came up. (Actually, I finished the mission, it said a day left on research, and before they finished a council mission showed up.)

Well, I finished the council mission! And before weapon fragments could finish, abductions happened!
So, it's weird playing with 2 heavies and no assault. I normally use a balanced team, then add another support and sniper later.

But this mission went much better! No deaths, and I uploaded everything safely! I am working on the write up, but right now we have promotions.

Yeah, no problem! New players are always welcome, and an assault will be helpful.
Now, we have a Canadian Assault, but he is male. Do you want him?

And we are going to Canada! Hopefully we don't all horribly die. (I won't be able to run it for a few days though, I am spending the weekend at my Grandmother's house.)

EDIT: just thought of a good nickname: "Mace to the face" if that's too long "Spacemace", since we're dealing with aliens.
