You mean between 'having some' (especially now that the universe is showing that beastmen are a preety cool race and don't afraid of anything, plus humanity as a whole is on an uptrend, if I understand this stuff correctly) and 'being a crotchety old racist literally made of hatred and bigotry'(going off Xantalos' interpretation of spiral energy, at least)?

For the record, I just view spiral energy as being one's hot-blooodedness made manifest. So, like Green Lantern, but with RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH instead of willpower.

I don't think shoving more Spiral Energy into something literally made of Spiral Energy is going to do more except make him more powerful.

On the other hand, that logic could also be used to explain why metal artillery shells don't work on tanks; they're both made of metal, after all.

Also, is there anyway to actually tank and draw enemy aggro, as the tank, without being ignored in favor of squishier targets, while still being able to attack?

Actually I plan on not being a giant racist forever, since I came into this with the intention to play and not ruin it for everyone like a few others I've been in.
And maybe I was a bit obscure with my explanation of my view of Spiral Power: it's basically your faith in your ideals made manifest and turned into superpowers. If you believe in the manifest destiny of humanity like Tömas, and believe in it very strongly you'll have high Spiral Power, just as if you believe very strongly in equality and stuff. But the more strongly you believe in something, the harder it is to change your beliefs without losing the spiral power unless you get that conviction in yourself back.

So yeah Tömas will eventually stop being racist, once he gets over his issues caused by having everyone he loved being killed by Lordgeonome and his beastmen.
