Haruka decides to leave the two to their verbal duel and makes her exit. "Bye!"
"No, I only check up with the nurse when I vomit blood everywhere or something. This is perfectly normal for me." The earlier mood of light chitchat seems to have vanished.

He sighs again, raising his hands in resignation "If you say so." he looks back over the school grounds, disliking the now somber mood

Maria doesn't know whether to apologise or just try and restart the conversation in the hope of lightening the mood, so she just stands there, awkwardly.

"I can sort of play accordion, if you count a sort of dirge as accordion music."
