[Rhodus]

Ryu laughs again "No it's just the two. And I am a pretty bad cook. Aside from simple stuff, I am completely helpless in a kitchen"

[Adragis]

"I can cook, but only by virtue of knowing what tastes like what and then throwing it all together."

[Rhodus]

Ryu shrugs "Well that's more than I can say for myself. I can only cook a few specific dishes, and even then it took my brother teaching me relentlessly. He's the cook in the family"

[Adragis]

"Suppose it helps to be taught. So what is it you can cook? Maria was enjoying the conversation. It was nice to talk with someone once in a while.

[Rhodus]

He thinks for a second "Let me see... Grilled cheese with tomato soup, instant macaroni, hamburgers, and toast."

[Adragis]

"Never made hamburger. Can't eat them anymore either, so I doubt I will. Well, I could, but I'd be ill for days." Maria starts looking a little upset and changes the subject. "Do you play any video games?"
Very abrupt, but it'd do.

[Rhodus]

Ryu notices the shift in her demeanor and makes a mental note to use caution around the topic of food.
"Yup. Too much one might say. I was confined to a wheelchair for three months and during that time I got rather addicted. It waned a little when I was able to fence again, but I still play them way too much."

[Adragis]

"I'm not addicted, per se, but I play 'em. Should've brought my laptop here. Any particular type of game you prefer?"

[Rhodus]

"If I had o choose I'd say fps, but I really just play whatever interests me"

[Adragis]

"Ah, FPS games. Good for a laugh. I always like RPGs a bit more, although sometimes I guess they cross over."

[Rhodus]

"Yes I suppose they do. I guess the only kind of game I don't play is rts. Never really liked them much"

[Adragis]

"They're fine by me. Then again I don't exactly have very refined tastes. I'm not really an- owwww!"
Maria doubles over for a second second, arms wrapped around her torso, but stands back up quite quickly. "As I was saying, I'm not really an expert on games.

[Rhodus]

He moves to try to help her but she has already recovered by the time he gets there. He looks at her, concerned "Are you okay?" 

[Adragis]

"Fine. Happens far too often for my liking, though.  It's a pain, quite literally." Maria smiles and tries to look reassuring.

[Rhodus]

Ryu sighs, still slightly concerned "Okay. You sure you don't want to go see the nurse? We've got plenty of time left before break is over"
