Well I'm feeling a bit better now. It might still be sensible to hand the turn over to Timeless Bob, though, and I'll pick up the last go of the round.

(looking at the legends)

wow, the population of elves is at a serious downfall! it almost reached kobold levels
humans and dwarves fare a bit better, but the human population is also in sharp decline (a bit more than a half than when i wiped out their civilization). dwarves are somewhat stable. for now, at least

goblins... are doing great, there are almost twice as much gobbos in the world than as other three races combined

12 alligators (on hindsight, it makes me feel like an asshole, killing off roughly 33% of an endangered species just because)

only 3 pandas left in the world

on megabeasts:

the giant and the desert titan were one of a kind. as is the roc, if someone wants to go after it. there is also a single minotaur

night creatures:

5 midnight horrors remaining. four of them in a single lair, and one is alone
1 bleak hag
1 night hag

28th of Sandstone, Year 54:
The further adventures of Master Gozru Heldhell the Chartreuse Romance, Goblin Adventurer!

Leaving the new goblin fortress of Gorgehelp, I take the low road to Flierbridge and speak to a few dwarves there before venturing deeper into the place.  Turns out all of the residents are in two rooms, for zombie goblins have slain many, many dwarves.  I flee swiftly into the darkness rather than attempt a possibly futile confrontation with my dead brethren.  Soon, Flierbridge will fall to the zombies and I shall be here collecting the skulls of the fallen for my collection.  I've seen what those withered bodies are capable of - oh look! Metal armor and weapons of the fallen!  Well, they won't be needing these...

There's a dwarf corpse here with a backpack full of shoes - if I'm reading the dwarven-weave correctly on his shirt collar, his name was "Zon Boatentered", he has some rather nice armor, VERY nice boots, and his skull is now nestled against Maddam Pickpleat's in my bag.

I briefly spoke to the baron consort of Flierbridges and his court.  I informed the entire room that they were now ruled by the dominant dagger.  They digested this latest affront to their sovereignty just before a goblin zombie broke through the far door and commenced slaughtering them.  I slipped out a side door and by skulking in the shadows and sprinting quickly away whenever I saw their dead glowing eyes, I eventually made it out of the front entrance of the place untouched by dead and rotting fingers.

In my bag I have the skulls of Maddam Pickpleat, Zon Boatentered, Kol Nebelvutok, Adil Etessigun, Lor Nishidrath and seventeen others who bore no identifying features. There were many, many others whose skulls I was unable to scavenge, but the fact that I will not be leaving my own skull in Flierbridges balances my sorrow at such a waste of trophies.

...on second thought, I'll pay for lodging with these seventeen unnamed skulls and harvest six others instead: Minkot Shedimmorul, Onul Logamadek, Ingish Uzolribet, Thikut Esineth, Fikod Muthkatuz and Thob Otilalath.  All now jostle together in my bag - their bodies will never be animated by any necromancer because of my careful ministrations.  I was careful to butcher every corpse, for each one is worth the lives of twenty living.  By my count, I've saved the potential lives of hundreds of goblins.  It's a tough job, but someone has to do this kind of "preventative medicine" or soon enough the necromancer scum will take over the world.

All in all, I'd say this was a very productive day. (Boy, this bag is heavy!)

1st of Timber: Woke up this morning missing some teeth and surrounded by the tracks of tiny sharp-clawed feet.  Also, I'm bruised and battered.  I hate sleeping in the forest - it's the same "boogey fever" every single night!

So, I headed east across the plains, visiting the forward observation camp of my fellow goblins, but alas: some enchantment lies over that place, for I could not step one foot into their demesnes.  Instead I headed south, finding myself at last entering the mercenary haven that is Paperscale Town.  The city, once prosperous home to the Human race, now boasts only debauchery and death.  The occupied Human lands now thrive under the various mercenary gangs that employ all races - telling of the horror that was Flierbridges, I won over many a dwarf and human, who saw me as some sort of new leader.  (The rum, moonshine and other less obvious substances were just that good, I guess.)  Of course, once I had a fair few choosing me as thier new leader, I proclaimed myself the savior and new lord of Paperscale, who now fell under the dominion of The Dominant Daggers.  As the first of my many new edicts, I proclaimed all elves persons of extreme dishonor - to be slain upon the spot.  Suiting action to words caused a bit of an uproar, but I survive with several new skulls in my collection of worthy foes (several were dwarven in nature, curiously: They were perverse elf-lovers, not fit to lick the filth from where I deposit my night soil.  Nonetheless, a few noteworthy ones took quite a few of my companions to the Nether Realm with them and their skulls remain lovingly in my collection.)

I think I might stay awhile longer here in Paperscale and build my army further.  These mercenaries have both skill and heart!

Wow. Your goblin is tough to survive that. I think it's about time to ...

is it wrong that this song came to mind, with mental images of boogey men dancing around?

I So totally want to make a flash video parody now.

actually, Paperscale was a hellhole full of wrestlers even before i destroyed the human realm. i committed several atrocities on mankind and may ormay not have doomed the whole species to slow extinction, but Paperscale... i actually benefited her by ridding the area of bandits, gangs and night creatures

Now its full of pike-humans, hammerdwarves and bow-toting elves, all offering their weapons to the highest bidder.  It reminds me of some pirate town...

i know. awesome, right? though most of them don't actually possess weapons, they just pummel stuff to death with their bare hands (or die trying, considering none of them believe in armor)

also, what's the deal with these animal recruits and these dogs which marry other dogs and having objects of worship?

54 Timber 17th

Before setting out from Crazebrass I collect three worthy(?) dwarves as my temporary companions.

I meet the baroness in exile of Gorgehelp. There she is in her fancy clothes, does she really care what's happening to her 'home'? Possibly urged on by the drunken fumes of my companion I start a fist fight with her.

I may have hit her harder than I meant to.

The baroness of Crazebrass takes exception to my behaviour and starts beating up one of my companions. I have a part in this. I will take revenge! In the heat of battle matters escalate.

And continue to do so.

Before long she has bled to death. I see the accusing glares of those around me, but none dare speak up. I go for a walk to clear my head, but when I come back the so-called Baroness of Gorgehelp has returned.

She runs, but this time I pursue. Before long she meets the same fate as the baroness of Crazebrass

My erstwhile companion takes this ill.

But I won't take any backtalk from him. Soon another red mark is drawn in my bloody ledger of deeds. Ow. I think he cracked one or two of my ribs. I feel better after a night's sleep, and decide it is best I take my leave of Crazebrass. I strike up a casual conversation with the baroness of Lancedappear.

She knows too much. She must be silenced. Unfortunately there are witnesses.

There were witnesses. Even so, I feel it is time to leave this place. I walk to the nearby Oilbases hillocks. The king lives there, and apparently he and the mayor haven't heard anything ... untoward about me. They seem strangely twitchy, though.

I don't know what they're talking about. I'm not wielding a weapon. In fact I've never used a weapon. Just my fists, and feet, and teeth. Just a little fisticuffs. Nothing to get scared about. THE BLOOD. The blood ... it was everywhere. I didn't know a face could break like that. Ha-ha. HAHAHA.

Oh, wait, did I say some of that out loud? I ask my companion.

Just what are you implying?

Shut up! Shut up! He doeSn't KnOw what he's talKing about! don't Listen to him. I can feel them looking at me.

STOP LOOKING AT ME! My head hurts and their voices distort strangely.

Several days later I come to, hungry, thirsty and surrounded by body parts. I am a monster, I realize. I head out into the wild - I don't belong here any more. A black bear walks through the bushes and I greet it as a friend.

I think Goblins dig trenches in conquered sites.

awesome! i have news (and a save)

i continued with my swordself, Fidale Cloaksatins. First i found and looted "Master Gozru's" corpse for the first actual armor i ever had. then i recruited some more wrestlers and set to kill as many night creatures as i could. I found and slaughtered a midnight horror and then a moon ogre (the last of its kind). Then i went and met some hags: sadly, the night hag Liyiyi Flutevoice proved to be more than a match and killed me with a copper carving knife, though not before i wounded her pretty badly.
