Yep. The Hydra must live on!

The best part about starting with the dwarves is that they even decorate their SOCKS with sparkling gems. You've also taken some of their crops just because you can.
Build a large hoard of socks such that all will come to gaze with awe upon it.
You can't exactly eat them but you might be able to brew them if you find a barrel.
Who needs to brew when you can just take them? Raid a dwarven fortress!

While looking for a fort, night falls. Ugh, this again. Before you rest, you find a camp. The fight was uneventful other then the masterwork robes the 'overlord' was wearing.

Yep you knew it. The cackling again. The first time you heard the cracking wings this night, you managed to pin the monster to a cliff with a thrown arrow. You're getting REALLY good at aiming. More monsters come, but honestly they only managed to break another couple noses this time. Usually these things actually put up a threatening fight, wonder why they seem so... hopeless tonight. you wonder while you put the last one, the one you hit with an arrow at the start of this, out of it's misery.
What has happened to the ferocity of the night?
You come up with an answer: you are now why they fear the day.

Well this is a new humanoid. It's the size of a dwarf, has grey skin, and strangely colored hair. It also has no self preservation skills because it charged at you.
You shake him around a bit by the leg and he passes out. Now he's dead. No time for him to even try to use that pike he had.

You've found the tower before you could find a dwarf fort, decide to check out what may be your new lair soon, and when the zombies pour out you decide to try this again from a safe distance. Like waaaaaaaaay over there. A bunch follow you so you gallop until they are spread out enough to deal with. An elf skeleton shambled over and you bit off it's head. It proceeds to try and fail to punch you. This is gonna be a long battle. You decide the next step up in lethalness is bisecting it so you bite it's ribcage and start shaking it around like a ragdoll, one time hitting another zombie that made it to you with it. Strangely when it's HAND of all things was destroyed, it died. You eventually figure out that all you have to to is damage them a lot. Taking off a finger can be a lethal shot. Strange. You find another pack of zombies tearing apart some ravens and break them up too. This is gonna take a REALLY long while.

You have learned the best way to take care of zombies is to bash them around with a mace and hack them to bits with an axe. Mostly because then you don't have to bite them. Yuk. You've been kiting the undead for a while, as the only way you tire is by not resting at night, and you've been doing that just fine.

Ok, you've wasted half the day on this, it's noon, ugh.
Do you continue killing the dead or do you get bored and leave?

Killing undead is getting very annoying. Like, what's the point of terrorising and murdering things when they are too brainless to care? Better go visit those scared humans again. Or play with the dolls. The ''overlord'' from the camp would make a fine addition.

Continue killing the dead, you must get the tower as your lair, there is NO other way.
 8)

(just walk at them if that helps, you dont necessarily need to aim)

(also your framerate will improve as the zombies die if thats the issue)

As a head that's getting tired of the disagreements.. Day dream of what it may be like to split off from the rest of the heads and go off on one's own.

Aaaand your heads are disagreeing again. Please stop fighting...

Head five is imagining himself walking away from the others as a dragon and going on her own rampage. None of the other heads have the heart to tell her that not being with the other heads won't let her breath fire. Guess you should start killing zombies again. Ugh.

You can't breathe fire, but you can set the ground on fire... You're just a bit busy knitting a huge horde of zombies around the tower.
By huge, you mean you can't exactly count all of them. Lots and lots of stinky zombies. Yuk.

After almost the whole day, you clear most of the zombies and force your way into the tower. You find the necromancer seems to have killed (Him? Her? It's?) self with zombie-assisted suicide. Darn, you wanted to kill it in the most painful way possible for annoying you. In the tower is tons and tons of books. You can't read them but some of them contain nice pictures of the evil land, dying and dead things, and even one has a detailed picture of how a humanoid creates a zombie. After a try, you find that hydras can't use the same method as humanoids anyway. Oh well, why would you want to bring back things you kill anyway?
You are now going to grab the stuff from your old lair.

Well, learning to read can't be *that* hard. Like, if each head learns how to 1/7th of read, then we can probably achieve minimal litteracy sooner or later.

As the fifth head: "That's a stupid idea, learning separately would just make the thing harder"

Ok, fifth head, we'll all learn using the same book. After all of your heads stare at the same page in a book for an hour, you decide that you don't even know a single symbol and the zombies that you missed are coming back. You continue trying to learn after you lock the zombies outside.... Well you know this symbol appears a lot: a single dot. Wonder what it means?

It probably means zombie. Necromancers probably love writting about zombies a lot.

That makes sense! So there are lots and lots of zombies. And there's some other marks that contain a dot, so it's safe to assume that those have to do with zombies somehow. Rarely there's even two dots stacked on top of each other, that might be a tower of zombies or something... Tower of zombies? Oh! That must mean this tower. You feel happy, suddenly this reading thing seems a lot easier!
