unnoticeable
It works by making the target object vibrate itself apart by hitting it with a hammer at a specific tempo for an extended period of time.
stealth tool, this ain't.
Stealthy when active, no.
Stealthy when waiting for a remote signal to bring the whole place down?  Why not?

because it needs to spend a long time active to build up the resonance, during which time it is super-obvious.

So I assume those crowd-wires are gonna be upper-tier uncon, most likely?  Or will they be just a few tokens and have modest skill requirements?

Not...Really.  Not compared to, say, people shooting at the thing.

Hmm, what if instead of grabbing a toddler and turning it into a portable, controllable pile of IVANflesh, we just made IVANsods, or grew large lumps of IVANflesh attached to neural docking interfaces (like, a circular chunk of metal which connects to the flesh-lump's neurons, not to the controller's neurons). Then, we simply have a special handle device that you can mount the dockport onto -- like, a sort of two-handled thing with buttons or some other form of fine control for the fleshlump, kinda like you're holding an assault rifle with a big blob of flesh at the front, with the handles positioned for good balance. We can use the same system of docking ports for robobodies and replacement synthflesh bodies.

We do need something to replace synthflesh with, and I'm currently just running along with the idea that something IVAN-like could be feasible.

Taking it to its logical conclusion, we could develop some sort of fleshy horror that serves as a bio-battlesuit. Use Haebi research, IVAN research, maybe whatever those symbiotic hives came from. Essentially, you would enter a big blob of pulsating flesh through a large orifice that completely seals up behind you, the eldritch intelligence within probing into your mind, ready to cooperate with your mental faculties in commanding all the various parts of the body to morph into things. The logical conclusion is that you would merge entirely with the flesh horror, so you don't have such an inconvenient thing as a permanent skeleton preventing you from squishing through tight spaces.

But what's the point? People will still notice something weird when the structure catastrophically fails, so can't we just plant regular explosives and detonate them instead? There's virtually no delay with explosives, and we already have plenty.

Then how about some sort of elemental infuser cartridge that's been modified to act as an explosive? It's single use but infuses the whole damn area.

We could certainly use something like that with this whole thermophage issue. Plus it would serve quite a different role to normal explosives, since rather than taking out a structure, it just violently murders all the occupants.

I personally want to get rid of neuro-interpretive control on Pimp Cane. Replace it with a system with preprogrammed forms and functions. Switch between forms with press of button. It could be anything, medical scalpel, sword, screwdriver, shield, ladders, storm of needles...

Same thing with pimpcane metal arms/body. Replace the neuro-interpretive control thing with system that simply reads nerve inputs and transforms them into signals that pimpcane metal accepts.

Had an idea, don't want to add more to the Heph thread so here it goes for now.

The "Shredder" suit

Short version, take a MkIII, add a fuck ton of knives and swords and shit, then add a little bit of armoring and rockets to not die instantly.

Long version, again start with a MkIII. Then add monoswords, force swords, heat infused swords, cold infused swords, basically anything and everything. Attachment point on the forearms, with a sheath system that allows you to retract them out of the way and only have out certain ones. Also, probably a little space magic will be involved, but, a way to launch them out at targets, and then also a way to recall them. Beef up the rockets for more maneuverability, some light armoring and a beefed up exoskeleton to handle the weight. Use an MMI to control it, and say, oh, +2 Uncon, +1 Aux, and +2 Dex to use. Hit hard and fast, then run like hell the other way. Rinse, repeat, try to not die.

Ohhh, I have an idea, you guys know about Blackshot for Gauss rifles? How about we create a replacement for them using a still heavy ferrous material enhanced by being made into a forcefield projector, that way we might be able to lower the price.
