Where would Chapter 1, where new recruits are presumably found, be located? I'd like to know what a Nun from that area would be likely to worship.

Also, they're privateers and raiders ruled by one man. I doubt that religion is of any big concern in the crew.

Bio: Aiesha's parents had always been poor, but they loved their shared passion of archaeology almost as much as they loved each other. When her mother got pregnant,  her father had to make ends meet, and even after Aiesha was born, the couple spent far less time on research and excavation than they once had.

As Aiesha grew older though in Dseleudis, two things conspired to force her out on her own. Her parents constantly spoke of the good old days, reminiscing about all the research, the digging, and more than anything else, the discovery of artifacts that, to her, sounded minor and inconsequential. Somewhat more disturbing was her parents' constant display of affection toward each other. No one wants to see that.

So Aiesha left home, looking toward her own life. Soon however, she realized she missed her loving parents, and returned to them. A week later she was out of the house again. She writes to her family every few weeks, and, when she can, she sends some money back to them, to let them pursue their dreams of unearthing the past again.

Bio (WIP?): A young but tall and muscular man from a small rural community in the mountains near Xos, fierce and strong of heart with lots of confidence. He dresses appropriately for the mountains and for battle, in many layers. The thick innermost layer consists of black pants and a faded blue shirt. The second layer is sturdy and fur-lined all through, with thick hide boots that end just below the knee; a knee-length tartan kilt with a pattern of dark blue and faded blue squares; and a long-sleeved quilted coat that ends around mid-thigh and has a high, silver-thread-embroidered collar to keep his neck warm from the winds. The final layer is a set of dark metal armor, with guards for the top of his feet, shins, outer thighs, and forearms, then a cuirass with spiked paldrons. His wyvern, Prata, is large and silver-scaled, with a white underbelly and blue eyes.

He has lived his life as a sort of combination hunter and watchman, hunting game in the mountains with his trusty spear (and later, wyvern) as food for his community and Xos, and would often carry (later, fly in) the supplies he had gathered himself, though he doesn't have much of a love of magic. He first 'met' Prata when he was fifteen and the wyvern a fledgling; Prata attempted to make away with a deer Beryn had slain and in response Beryn attacked. The two had a prolonged struggle, but eventually Beryn was able to wound him badly. Instead of killing the wyvern, however, Beryn bound it and brought it back home, where he spent the better part of a year mastering it until eventually it saw him as its alpha. Pleased with his progress, Beryn gave him the name 'Prata' after his scale color and took to teaching himself how to ride him - first for hunting, and later on as part of the community's defenses against bandits.

Eventually, though, his hot blood burned for something more exciting in his life. Mounting Prata, he took to the skies to follow his great-grandfather's footsteps as a soldier of fortune, wearing his old armor to honor his memory. Now he looks to prove his strength and grow even stronger, determined to gain fame or notoriety - he cares little which. All that matters is that his name will be known when all is said and done.

A enigma. Her movements reveal she's had some kind of formal spear training. Her armour is of far too fine quality for a humble mercenary, with the mark of the Royal Armourers of Domiria stamped upon it. Her hair and eyes clearly reveal she's not part of that long-dead bloodline, however. She's never said where she's from, or anything about about her past.

In fact, no one has seen her say anything, technically.

This is because she has one heck of a talent for ventriloquism and mimicking voices, which she uses with a roughly-stitched hand puppet called Lady Rose. Apparently, she stitched it herself, using her own hair for the puppet's. In personality, Lucrezia is kind and gentle towards her friends, making her choice of vocation rather a mystery. She doesn't enjoy fighting overmuch, but if someone asked her to spar, she'd fight not to disappoint the other person. If she does something, she'll carry it through - and Lady Rose will berate her if she even thinks of turning back. She's easily embarrassed or flustered, especially by men. Despite that, she hates being alone, and will tag along like a lost puppy.

She's physically young - at most around 20 years of age. Her blue hair is untamed, and she cuts it roughly short every month or so. She polishes her shiny grey armour with almost religious fervor each night. Lady Rose, when not on her hand, is carefully tucked into a pouch on her belt. She could be beautiful if she paid more attention to her appearance.

Fond of flowers, particularly roses.

Bio:
Born somewhere along the Coast of Salt, Barry developed an early taste for booze and adventure. Not long after becoming an adult, he left home to travel the world, tasting new brews of alcohol and getting into more than a few brawls.

When the land wasn't enough, he joined several sailor crews to travel to other places, but his love for drinks and fights ended with him getting kicked soon after hitting land.

It's been a few years this way, until he joined a pirate crew where his fighting abilities were welcome, and now he sails with the rest of the crew fighting, drinking, and drunkenly fighting.

Biography:

Alister was First Captain of the Gliese Exploration Network on a mission to chart an unexplored sector of space. Just before dropping the surveillance probes, however, Alister's ship was sucked into a wormhole and stretched to the size of a pin. Before he knew it, he was stranded on an alien planet in alien circumstances. The locals certainly looked Human, but could he really be sure? Bio: Elanore grew up on the outscurts of the holy city Demura, and at an early age was introduced to the cult by her parents, both moderate supporters in the cult. From then on she was pressured to be a mage. Eventually, the pressure became too much for her, and she ran away from home, carrying whatever she thought would be worth something. That collection of things that she took included a flux tome.

During her travels away from home, she came across an old hermit, who identified that she was capable of doing some magics, if she was willing to listen to her. Elanore clearly refused, and went along her way, but came across bandits not half a days walk away from the hermit. With no way to defend herself, she had to run, leaving behind what she hadn't sold for food. Returning to the hermit out of breath and exhausted, she asked to be trained how to use the tome that she carried. The training was harsh, but she recognised that it was needed if she was going to survive by herself.

After some years, she finished her training, a different person than the one who begun as a student under the hermit. While a part of her just wanted to stay with the hermit, to continue a life with no real obligations a much greater part of herself felt that she needed to go out into the world, to explore.
