No you are fully right The Sims 4 isn't all that bad and a few of its missing features are being added in for free (not all). Plus it has a few good ideas here and there (I like Childhood aspirations for example)

It still isn't as much of an improvement on the series as The Sims 2 was... or The Sims 3 was (though The Sims 4 has less game breaking bugs).

Quote
This is where the fourth trait from sims 3 went

Unfortunately... it isn't... I wish it was as character affecting as it was in The Sims 2, but alas it isn't.

I am laughing at what horror you will be experiencing (unless you turn free will off) with these character traits.  :P

Oh, I'm leaving it on, that's half the fun.

Anyway, without further ado, it's time to move in!

Our eclectic group of victimsroomates have finally arrived at their new home!

I guess it's house building time!
I'll build it over the next while. Feel free to give suggestions and I'll try to incorporate them.

Thank you, Japa.
He's beautiful.

Possibly multiple bathrooms?
If it's anything like the second multiple bathrooms are a must.

For Eiricken, a small study, big enough to hold a desk, chair, computer, maybe a bookshelf.  Biggest windows possible, preferably looking out over his garden plot.

(In that arrival picture, he already looks bored.)
