Japa plays The Sims 4 (It's really not as bad as they say)
« on: October 16, 2014, 11:39:44 pm »

Right, so I'll be playing this game everyone's raging about. I will make... hm... 6 bay12ers into sims. Or 4, if the wait is too long. Or something.

If you want in, I need:

Name: First, Last.
Appearance: General description of how you want to look. There's a lot of customization in body shape, so I'll try to get it as close as I can.
Three traits: Since most of you plebs probably haven't played the game, here's a list: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Trait_%28The_Sims_4%29
One aspiration: This is where the fourth trait from sims 3 went. here's the list: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Aspiration_%28The_Sims_4%29
Age: There's child, teen, young adult, adult, and elder. The middle three all look exactly the same, and the kids have fewer traits.

Let's do this.

Currently playing:

Waitlist (To be used if I get bored and want to make a neighbor)

Hey, reserving a spot now. I need some time to look stuff up though.
(The wiki is weird, it still acts like the game isn't released. Are you sure those are all the traits?)

Name: Jaenna Keshanosal
Appearance: Long blonde hair, blue eyes. Skinny, and female. Beyond that is up to you.
Traits: Perfectionist, Creative, Loner.
Aspitation: Painter Extraordinaire.
Age: Young Adult.

I should point out that the game is balanced around starting as a young adult, as far as I know, since that's the default starting age.

At least that seemed the case in sims 3.

I guess that would depend on your age settings. Also, your idea of what constitutes "Young adult" vs "Adult". What's the threshold? 30? 35? 40?

If you assume 13 years per life stage, which is likely not accurate, then young adult is from 26-39
