I only have 2 war photos in my possession, and only one of them is of a quality worth putting on the internet.

Now, some back-story. My Grandfather is in this image, along with 2 unidentified soldiers who all formed part of the 11th Armoured Division. My Grandad led a Bofors gun team, and he served in Operation Overlord and Market Garden.  The image has, on its rear in his handwriting, the date of 15th April 1945, and a location - Celle. Celle is in Saxony, and was the town that housed the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, liberated on that very date.

It's really weird watching that war video. A guy is shot (twice I'd say) at 2:16. Fuck I hope I never have to live this kind of shit.

It looks like two of them go down. Our cameraguy sits behind those cement things for awhile, then gets up and starts moving in the other direction. It cuts ahead, but I think they made their retreat. What is that tank doing though? It just drives by, sits for a little bit, then keeps going on down the road.

2 are definitely hit, fatally by the looks of it, by pretty large calibre heavy fire. Possibly even 3 of them. The APC is probably moving forward to troops we can not even see to help them out.
