"Technically, they are already going to die next tick, changing your vote will only prolong them at best."

I never voted in the first place, and besides, I'm really unsure how the council would enforce such an edict.

Particularly when it interferes with previously established Council rules.

I actually wonder if such a paradox in a system with as much (potential...) power as the Council wouldn't Paradox us as well. Hopefully that would be avoided, but...

Then perhaps we should prevent that sort of thing from happening. So, I propose that, if any two council rulings contradict each other, the most recently-passed one takes precedence.

Oppose that

And thank you ever so much for trying to force me into a conflict neither I nor my would-be foe desire, Joha. >.>

Oppose

A little too vague, unfortunately. I don't like it.

Since I manifested on the Council, most of the proposals have actually been rejected, so I have no idea where you're getting that idea from.

Equally so, it's easier to just not vote than say "abstain" every single time you're not particularly interested in the result of a proposal.

There are an awful lot of proposals that would be passed if a mere one or two more votes were cast for them...

Indeed? I must have gravely misunderstood the meaning of the word 'all', then. Or perhaps 'almost' is simply a far larger margin by your definition. After all, as of now, out of the nine proposals I can see, one has already failed, two are about to, and the rest are going to die.

(Fail means that enough people voted against it that it won't pass. Died means that it was on the fence but ran out of time as per another council rule)

"All of them are a vote or two away from passing. If Malakath wasn't so stupid with making random proposals, some might actually pass."

Whether the Council is abstaining as a group or not, they would all be only a few votes away from passing anyway, because so few gods vote on them, and because there aren't that many here to begin with.
