If you intend only to protect them, by all means, do. I will even assist you. But do not claim them as only yours to protect. I consider them within my flock to tend as well, Greed. I only worry that you mean to prevent them from doing as they choose as it relates to the gods.

I must ask, though; how do you know of which gods have made what deals with the Void? And are you still so violently opposed to it?

"Of course. I know from conjecture, research, and keeping an eye on essence ratings. In this case, the Killer had spoken to me in prison, informing me of this pact. I ignored him and threatened to shoot him, but it seems he was telling the truth, and I had to come back some time."

"As for the humans, they where born of the Council so back to the Council they will go. Even in my joke, I had them being controlled by all the gods. There is no reason that we should fight over them. We can all collect essence from the humans, as was my original plan when I had suggested them so long ago."

"Something's wrong with Jeffrey. The balance of power isn't shifting properly. This is bad. Lee! ((the remaining regular angel)) "Capture Jeffrey and take him to the Inquisition. I want a full interrogation done on him ASAP!"

I disagree vehemently.
"Then we will not. Yaos was making preparations to befriend you once you became active again. Yaos never demanded worship of herself anyway, so you can rest assured that nothing will change in that department. Besides, it was just an empty threat anyway."

"Let me preempt you on that Fusil. I claim the humans as my children, same as the Mountwyrms or any other. Want to come work for me Jeffrey?"
"We can definitely mercenary work for you until Yaos is revived. All you'd have to do is protect us from other gods. Deal?"

"It was a joke, on how Yaos stole all my stuff. But I don't appreciate being threatened. Tykki, kill this Angel."
"Not yet, Fusil. Not yet."

Lette fuses into Vaal so that Vaal becomes dominant. Vaal goes to the DBP.

"It was a joke, as I said before. Jeffry isn't a mortal anyway, as he is an immortal angel."
"And the threat I gave was empty. As for mortality, that's always been very nebulous when it came to angels."

I would like to work on disbanding the Inquisition; I will assist you in dismantling Yaos' empire, if you wish, Fusil, so long as we do so by moral means. His Inquisition constituted a grievous violation of many rights and workings.

I know we've had our differences in the past. But if you look at the Records of Time, I was furious when you were killed. And I was actually planning on attempting to revive you soon enough, though obviously it's no longer necessary.

"As secular ruler of the Empire, I will veto this. The Inquisition is not as bad as you think, and it has become much more ethically better ever since Gruen worship was legalised and the laws against Void cults was loosened. If you'll remember, Yaos campaigned to have Fusil brought back to life after her own death."

((How do you do that shiny text, KJP?)

I feel as though I've been forced to assume that my conceptions about everyone are wrong, as I have time and again been proven wrong; I even found the God of Hunger's war on Yaos to be just and righteous! Though I did find his murder of several hundreds of thousands of humans reprehensible...

Perhaps I merely misinterpreted what you meant by the phrase, claiming them as your children. Or perhaps my knowledge that you are the god of Greed influenced my perception unfairly. I apologize.

That does seem the most fair plan to both Gods and Humans, Fusil...can I ask why you are so opposed to the Void?

I have been speaking with them, in an attempt to gain knowledge and determine it's Goodness if nothing else, and find that though I may be being deceived, I can see little flatly Evil about them. And little truly Good, but that is to be expected.

Besides, if they are truly Evil, the more knowledge one has of one's enemies, the better.

Vaal, I have had human towns come to me for protection after being abused by your Inquisition's practices! That alone says something about the institution!

Hmmm. That is not quite true; Yaos wanted to make a new Fusil, not revive the old one, if I remember correctly.

Many assorted people at the DBP decided to join in the fight and ended up dying. The archangel of Khaziraad won by default.

The Philosopher has disguised himself as a young child and is wandering around the Slythan Tree.
The Pilgrim begins hitting the glass again in an attempt to play some music while whistling.
The Monk touches the dark purple stone.

Jeffrey seems to have turned into a jelly roll labeled "Jeffrey" in an attempt to avoid detection and capture. Lee effortlessly captures Jeffrey anyway.

Vaal goes to the DBP.

The forces of Grauel jump back to the Garden of Hunger. Many of them seem somewhat larger than when they left.

"As for the humans, they where born of the Council so back to the Council they will go."
"They were born of Azem. The Council merely propagated them."

I even found the God of Hunger's war on Yaos to be just and righteous!
"Since when is genocide a just response to claiming a mere QUARTER of something Yaos helped pay for? Yaos paid for one sixth of the project like the other gods, and one has since gone inactive. He should be entitled to only a fifth, which is something I agree with. But then, he was giving five of those moons away so maybe it balances out."

Vaal, I have had human towns come to me for protection after being abused by your Inquisition's practices! That alone says something about the institution!

"WHAT!? Give me a copy of the reports if you may. I've received no news of such practices, but that is probably to be expected. I'll disband them immediately if I have proof."

"He wanted to make the new Fusil exactly as the old one with all his memories and personality. This was her objective over straight reviving because it was believed that a corpse is necessary for reviving. Apparently, that is not the case."

"He wanted to make the new Fusil exactly as the old one with all his memories and personality. This was her objective over straight reviving because it was believed that a corpse is necessary for reviving. Apparently, that is not the case."

I also propose that we build (not rebuild - build) Fusil, the god of Weapons. We can't repair what doesn't exist but we can perhaps give a new god existence and life if we all put some Essence into it. As for his personality and memories......WE ARE GODS. WE DO WHAT WE WANT. BECAUSE. WE CAN."[/glow][/color]

Perhaps I misinterpreted that last part. As far as I could tell, it meant giving him a new personality and memories.

As for the reports, I believe I can have Palatino render them to you. Those Human Towns are now under my protection, by the way. I will, however, work with you to punish those responsible for the murder and arson.

Quote from: Palatino's Reports
A human town has decided to turn to you after losing a beloved priest to Yaos' vengeance. They beg you for protection.

It appears that they are fearful after Yaos casually killed their priest for refusing to accept a potentially corrupting gift. They are terrified of the Inquisition's retaliation and have lynched several Inquisitors in the panic and have razed Yaos' temple. The people beg for protection.

I would appreciate not being called an idiot for attempting to gain some sort of understanding of just what we're going up against; have you a better idea of ways to learn of them? I have considered making a Void capable Angel.

But I ask, are there not cults present here that kill people already? As the God of Weapons, you surely know that the primary purpose of a weapon is to kill. I do not believe all of the Void itself to be Evil in such a fashion as you claim, but neither will I deny that it is certainly present. I can, however, accept your reasoning, if they threaten your followers. I must say, though, one of them asked me to revive you, so...

Finally, Vaal, the fact that one of Yaos' angels turned into one of these things, after his Angel-Emperor turned against him...it does not speak well of him.
