Their parents have already passed on to Slytha, as they did not actually do too many significant deeds worthy of your notice.
Yaos and Joha instead work to bring the grandfather back to life. Considering that he died fighting the Gruen, he should have likely gone to the Human Plane.
"I wish I was as tall as a mountain!"
"I wish my little brother would get better, but not even the priests can heal him and my inheritance is running out." (plot-block)
"Yaos be praised! My Void army and not my set of suspiciously misshapen dice has won!"
"Thank Yaos I got a job in the Inquisition. Now I can get free food and shelter wherever I go with my whole squad."
"I want my doll to be alive! Make it happen now!"

Check in to see if it's just a board game he's playing.
Curse him with mild bad luck if he's cheating."You're welcome."*DEATH GLARE* (Not meant to kill, just terrify.)
(I'm going to wait to see if resurrecting the grandfather is successful before I go down and have a chat with the girl. The dialogue will be different depending on if he's there or not. Pleeeease don't do anything to either of them until that happens.)
I guess it is only fair now that we are friendish with the Gruen to greet their opponents, the Humans. I have a group of Armu dance in the sky to the tooting of a pipe on the Human capitals of both worlds, raining down miscellaneous shinies. The group then meets the Emperor of man, informing him about their races new place in this world.
They are accepted and welcomed. Yaos makes the wind blow so that any shinies that
would've hit someone and hurt them gets lightly pushed by the wind so they
just miss their targets.
"Thank you for introducing the Armu to my people with such friendly terms, Fusil. I was wondering if you could perhaps make a pair of swords with which to arm a couple of archangels I plan to make. You can choose the shape, size, and design with three constraints: they ought to be able to be wielded by the average adult human; the black sword must be one-handed; they should both be capable of stabbing and slashing."A black, indestructible sword. It is sentient. It can reject a user by becoming too heavy to wield properly and by refusing to cut anyone, save the person attempting to use it. It can accept a person as its user if it deems them worthy, at which point it becomes half as heavy as a regular sword, and it will not cut its user. Once it has selected a user, it will remain the user's sword until the user dies or else if the user discards or neglects the sword (put it in an attic and leave it there to get cobwebs).
As the user improves their body and as the user increases their skill and attunement to the sword, a black, indestructible armour of the same material as the sword itself will begin to grow on the user, starting from the sword-hand, and slowly covering the rest of the body, starting from the sword-arm. It normally takes decades until any being (including untuned archangels) gets good enough to cover their entire body. The face portion of the armour is mask-like and allows for sight, breathing, and legible speech. The user can will for more or less armour to grow (up to the currently attained maximum), and the user must do this in order to sheath or throw the sword, as the sword itself is attached to the armour.
The sword is non-magical in nature, as is the armour. Magic cannot be channelled out of the sword or the armour.
A white, indestructible sword.
The user is able to fire small bursts or large waves of energy. This energy comes from the sword itself but can also come from the user. As the user improves their ability to channel energy, and as the user increases their skill and attunement to the sword, the user is able to fire more powerful bursts and waves. Energy attacks work like this: on soft targets (living beings), the energy cuts. On hard targets (walls, buildings, exceptionally hard armour, etc.), the energy explodes. It, like any other weapon, can also be used to channel regular magic, but it does so with a noticeably bigger bonus than any mortal-made weapon.
The sword is magical in nature but even those without magic can use it since it relies on energy rather than magic.
(I changed some of the characteristics of the swords. First, I made it so only the body is important when dealing with Zephemural, rather than body and mind. I also made it clear that magic cannot be channelled through Zephemural's metal.
I changed Telialas a fair bit more than Zephemural. I changed it so that even non-magical people are able to wield it and changed its requirements for better energy attacks to skill in channelling energy rather than channelling magic. It can still channel magic, however, and does so better than any mortal-made artifact.)
EDIT: (IMPORTANT: The swords don't get sentience until the archangels are made. The swords should fit the archangels perfectly so they can get maximum power out of them immediately. It would also align the swords to accept only human-based beings as their users.)
EDIT2: How's the Duondio doing? Has s/he been doing well with the whole making the world a better place business?
EDIT3:
(Actually, it's more like Supernatural SWAT Team + Infected + Trying to RELEASE demons + AoT and RoE references.
I guess Avatar can also be added to the list of references.
