Lilly reached across the small distance between them and gave his hand a small squeeze.

"We're all in this together. We wouldn't have made it this far without any of us."

She stepped to the edge of her tile a bit closer and rested her forehead against his shoulder.

"I hate this senseless fighting, but I don't regret the people I've met, the people we've helped... In a strange way, I... almost don't want this to end. When the war is done most of us will all go our separate ways... and hell, I'll miss even Laura a bit once she's gone."
