Don't bother with shadows and lights until you've animated them flabort, otherwise you'll have a hell of a time flipping between frames getting all the details to line up and then you'll die from boredom. Just get the shape and solid colors, and shading will come after.

I'm thinking 110 by 50 for now.
Whatever you think is best. He's an elf so he's gonna be lean and tall.

From what I remember offhand about the dwarves in the list there:

Cacame was more or less like in that picture. He was a generic elf that wore dwarf plate and swung a warhammer in combat to great effect. He lost his family to cannibalism... of another elf family. There wasn't much fancy to him, just single big hits from that nasty hammer.

Tholtig was royalty who slew armies. A crown and cape atop ceremonial armor would be decent. I think she used a named sword? But lots of weak wide-area attacks would be fitting for her.

Morul had a long gray beard with long gray unkempt hair, and was freakishly strong while only wearing a loincloth. He was Legendary +5 in every skill... so if you want crazy stuff to show that I can think of a few. Throwing his legendary milker's bucket, or a basic projectile attack that's a box of carved stone mugs... pulling a lever to drop anvils on someone, or floodgates or something would be good.

Captain Ironblood was always heavily armored, and he lived in a Skelk-infested frozen hell. The entire fort's armory was stocked with thousands of elk-bone bolts at one point. Ironblood was a skilled siege operator and finished the game out by mass slaughtering a demon-summoning cult in his decorated adamantine armor, then slaying their summoned demons with his axe, and mounting a dragon to fly off into the night. Ice, ballistae, plate armor, and maybe calling in a dragon would be fitting. Maybe display a demon's head or elk skull as a taunt?

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

IMHO Morul, instead of being a Wrestler character, should be a zoning-type character who uses not only every weapon, but also as many job abilities as possible.

Light punch? Yeah, just a punch.
Medium punch? Swings a sword
Heavy punch? Swings an axe in an arc
Aerial heavy kick? Floats for a second while he encrusts a large diamond and drops it straight downwards.
Grab? Pushes enemy into the ground where a fish dissection station spontaneously appears. Proceeds to dissect opponent.

etc, etc...

Morul can be done Skullgirls style, where every attack has a unique flair.

So the attack layout for all characters we are outputting are supposed to look like this?

That's what I was thinking of, at least.

I think Captain Ironblood always carried around a cabinet that he created during his strange mood. The fort was back when dwarves would hang onto their creations rather than placing them in a storage room, or something like that. I'm not sure whether it was actually what happened in game but people imagined him smacking things with the cabinet.

As it happens, I had a design for Cacame lying around...

Here is preliminary lines for mr. Elf King. Shinguards probably need more detail, but how does this look?

For those who are making characters based off of themselves, what are you going to be basing your movesets around?  (ex. Forum games run, mods created, avatar, etc.)

I'm sticking with my original (Novakid one, with the hilarious shotgun-revolver). So ranged, most likely.

Details I can handle, I just need his body to be accurately shaped and postured-

I think I can work with this. I'm going to alter the shape of his hammer to make it a bit more square, I need to fix his feet (the one on the left looks a bit bigger than the one on the right then again, it's closer to the camera, so that should be fine), and I'm gonna widen his midsection a bit because his hips seem way too narrow and kind of low on his body, and then I should probably upturn the horns on the helm as well.
