Woops. This is OOC thread. Nevermind that.

Uhm. Okay, I see what you mean there. Carry on.

Well, I imagine Chaiket is seen as very strange, but ultimately harmless, and her true undead nature isn't known (or if it is, not mentioned. A secret of the village.) If the others in the party healed take care of her after she emerged from underground, then she'd probably hold them in great affection: so if any players want to integrate that into their backstory, by all means.

It does seem like something Arsolf might do... Mind if I add her as a sort of surrogate daughter in his eyes?

Sounds good to me. She's also amazing at disguise and bluff (partly in thanks to her Hat of Disguise) so I imagine most people wouldn't even notice she was undead in close inspection.

One minor change: I've taken Craft Wonderous Item instead of Augment Summoning. This will weaken my summons a bit(until 6th level), I know, but it fits better for her background in jewelry crafting. (I should really expand her background to explain this...)

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

As time passed he was intrigued by a catfolk who showed up one day, Chaiket, and as per his philosophy did what he could to help her adjust to the town. As time passed he began to see her as a surrogate daughter and attempted to dote on her when he could. Still, he made sure not to grow too attached as he feared what would happen if she left. He has suspicions that she might be more than just a pale catfolk, however he has no true idea as to what that could be.

That sound alright to you?

One more thing: Anyone know of any good prestige classes for conjurer type mages? None of the ones in Complete Arcane appeal(except for Initiate of the Seven Fold Veil, but that's for abjurers)

Hmmm... I've heard good stuff about the Tome and Blood contents, at least for wizards.

....I think the stuff in Tome and Blood is found elsewhere, at least from the pdf I found(unless it's a 3.0 version someone is passing off as 3.5)

Sure. For her part...

Chaiket arrived in the village soon after she left the deep dark, encountering an elderly guard. She remembered her fathers words, and never revealed her true nature; though a few mistakes she made rose questions, Chaiket has a deep talent for deception. Well, when she remembers to lie. Having found a place, Chaiket had no great wish to leave, though catfolk wonderlust and her curious nature often lead her to wander far afield. She loves being doted upon, and will purr upon her head being rubbed.
