"Nice to know I'm not the only newbie here, hehe........... So what do you guys call yourself? I mean like a team name or something."

[OREOSOME]

"Last I checked, we voted on The Vanguards... Not sure though."
She shrugs a bit.
((And now, for sleep.))

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh, I see. Well... It wasn't terrible. I was quite far back from the front lines, so I didn't have to worry about getting bombed or killed. But... They sent the heavily wounded and those suffering from PTSD to our hospital to convalesce, and it could be horrible sometimes. Especially at night... When they cried in their sleep, and you half glimpsed their disfigurements in the darkness..." A small shiver runs down Luzia's spine at the memories, but she continues on, "It wasn't all bad though, and I became fast friends with the other nurses and doctors. And many of the patients too. We enjoyed our time together while we could, but I still wouldn't go back. The pressure was simply too much." Luzia sighs and turns to look at Lethe, "I'm sorry, it must sound like I'm whining, doesn't it? You've all been out fighting and facing down these horrors, while I was safe and sound far behind you."

[Andres]

"Eh. Seems kinda boring and really just overused."
He then says in a voice loud enough for everyone else to hear:
"What do you guys think about DakkaKaiser for a team name? You know, kings of dakka? It's a good name for a team of giant mechs and their pilots."

[Kansa]

Lethe sighed, her smile was gone now.
"I don't think you're whining, it's... Not easy seeing stuff like that." she paused "It is terrible out there on the front lines sometimes, the gunfire, the explosions, the screams. It's not easy." she shook her head "People like you though save us though, if it wasn't for that I'm sure a few more of my friends would be dead at this point"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Luzia sighs, "I don't know. When I think of all of the people under my care that died or recovered and died back on the front lines... It doesn't seem like I saved anybody's lives. Just made their lives a little bit easier. But I suppose that I was a nurse, and that was all I needed to do for my job." After a few seconds, Luzia suddenly stands up before she continues, "But that's in the past. Now I'm a pilot and should... focus on being good at being one. I think I've recovered enough, let's spar a little bit more."

[Kansa]

Lethe nodded she rose to her feet and forced a smile onto her face.
"I'm sure they appreciated it and that sounds like a good idea to me"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"I know. They all thanked me for my help, especially before they left to head back to the front. Or before they passed away." Luzia sighs for a final time, before climbing into the ring and settling into a boxing stance as she waits for Lethe. Since she isn't in the mood to talk anymore, Luzia's bout with Lethe passes by relatively silently except for the few pointers and comments traded between them. Obviously Luzia is beaten soundly but not too painfully, and her technique did improve thanks to Lethe. Eventually Luzia mumbles, "I think that's all of the boxing I can take today. I feel far too sore to continue, I think that we should call it a day."

Ao is just watching them from the side of the ring.

[Kansa]

Lethe slipped out of her stance, she nodded
"Ok then." she smiled slightly "You did well, if you keep on practising I'm sure you can become a great boxer."

"I guess I just wanted adventure."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Thank you. If I do, then it's because you've been a great teacher," she says, before slipping out of the ring. As she passes by Ao she gives them a friendly wave and a smile, "Hello. How was I doing? I could use a lot more practice and teaching, I think."

"You did well, for a novice. Just get some more practice.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Thank you very much. I think I'm going to go shower and relax for a long, long time now. I've had enough exercise for one day. We can talk afterwards if you want to, I won't mind."

Ao nods and heads off to get changed herself.
