Lethe barely jumped out of the way of the kick, she landed backwards a few steps but was unable to launch a counterattack until Kara regained her balance.

Kyle smiles as he does up her gloves fumbling a bit with the strings before getting them tied up.

Kara eventually gets to her feet, and then tries to land a series of punches on Lethe. Lethe's blows are noticably doing something at least, as they don't seem all that forceful, now.

((By 'ACM guys' I meant us human mecha pilots who were fighting the ACM and by 'come back' I mean head back to the UN military base.))

"Then what was the point of us coming out here at all!?"

"Well you guys did blow up the factory it made, and we got some science out of it. Someone remember to pick up what's left of that mini-mech. I got my hands full."

"Accurate. They can't take any more territory."

FYI, everyone has returned to base, and Phineas is talking to the chief engineer near the just returned ACM pilots.

Lethe brought up her hands to try and block the assault, a couple got through her guard causing her to gasp slightly with each hit.  Eventually she tried to find a way through the flurry and launched another punch towards Kara.

And with that last punch, she is knocked down to the ground, flat on her back. After a bit, she does at least push herself up.
"I'm okay.. I'm okay. Good hit there. Looks like you won that time."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Okay." Luzia politely waits for Kyle to finish tying up her boxing gloves, giving him an encouraging smile as he fumbles with her strings. "Am I okay now?" she asks, giving her gloves an experimental smack together. As she waits for a reply, she gives Ao a friendly wave as she notices them practicing boxing as well.

Lethe extended a hand down towards Kara, a smile on her face as she did so.
"Thanks, you landed a few good ones on me yourself."

Trevor heads off to request a long-range rifle from the chief engineer. ((apparently I had 8 unspent tonnage?))

"Hey I was wandering if I could make my sword about 20 tons lighter and replace it with High Energy Couplings. Could you do that for me?"
