Hey, anyone mentioned the Church of Christ, Scientist yet?

They look like a pretty good example of how saying the word "science" enough times doesn't make you science.

Hmm.. Not sure if I want to vote on the poll or not..

Vote Ron Paul.

Its really fun when they also believe in real science.
Speaking of, their news paper (christan science monitor) is often one of the first to report new science.

Seeing how they interact with christans who arent christan scientists is also interesting.

Seems that people are more open to allowing Islam as well

Or maybe everyone wants to see a flame war happen

I say both, because... why not.

No idea how many muslims are on the forums though, not that it matters for me.

Just a warning, though I know you're kidding, if there is ANY anti religious things said or done this thread will be locked

Do you mean to say that if I say "religion stinks" you'll lock the thread?
You've threatened to lock the thread so many times it's not even funny any more - do you honestly believe you can cry wolf that many times over a thing so inconsequential as locking a thread? :P

Know I mean of say that all people of x religion should go die in a he

I know locking the thread isn't much and I only cry wolf so much because there have been several half insults thrown out
If an offensive enough thing is said, I will the lock
Not much of a punishment but it stops the problem

What about semi-Abrahamic syncretisms lile Bahai, Sufiism, Druze, Rastafarianism, SubGenius, Voodoo, and Santeria?

Those all sound fantastic. Except SubGenius. That one sounds terrible.

SubGenius isn't sub-Abrahamic, it's not even close my friend.

If it solves the problem, I'll just make a new Islam Beliefs and Discussion Thread. It separates the potential flame war from this thread, which  I rather like, and accomplishes the same thing as adding it here. Hey, I'll even add a link to it in this thread!

I don't see the point of this thread if you're just gonna refuse to engage with anyone posting in it.

Gravity is actually one of the few things that hasn't been properly integrated into our current understanding of the universe, incidentally.  I'd say evolution is far, far better understood.

Leave gravity alone, Leafsnail. What has it ever done to you, apart from constantly dragging you down?

The point of adding it here is to change this thread to Abrahamic religions thread
Don't get in all a fuss over it
Beside the majority seems to want it added anyhow
