Now that's basic embarrassment, captured and preserved for future generations to lament over. If you think about it, it's very odd that humans evolved to feel embarrassment, and moreover, evolved to feel embarrassment when others obliviously stride through it. This forms up the basis of 99% of emotional cringe, and is so common it can fall into archetypes because humans tend to embarrass themselves in very common ways throughout the ages. Thus some will tell you cringe never changes. You will always have extremist ideologues who have zero self awareness making fools of themselves, always have desperate Romantics hindered by their absolute lack of charisma/common sense resulting in various degrees of catastrophe, always have various fandom groups that somehow seem to foster large communities of people myopic to what is cringe - and to some extent, they are right. But cringe does change, for every now and then there is something that breaks out of the archtypes and becomes alpha cringe, the sheer pain induced from witnessing it causing one to wish for universal obliteration, preferring a Universe wherein life never sprouted so that life would never bear witness to the spiritual death its living had to produce. Not all embarrassment induces cringe - you see, for the embarrassment has to be so without dignity as to be unbearable. Take this to the maximum indignity, beyond points conceivable by man, you go from cringe to alpha cringe.
