Ship

"Look, Lieutenant. I recommend you leave this area and follow us back to the central chamber. Ideally, we could get your men back to their ship later, but it sounds like being here is going to be a very bad idea in a moment. Iton, c'mere. I'll help you out."

Amusingly, he's a Marksdwarf, which gives me the mental image of him conducting medical malpractice an appendectomy from fifty paces with a crossbow.
On bay12, a poll option of basically 'nuke the world' named 'Apocalypse Hitler' is like asking an alcoholic if they want some whiskey.

((Bugger, I just remember I need to use my user name. Well bit late for that.))

"Yeah Kyle/kj1225. Don't think I remeber here your name."
((Well you did use your real name for literally the entire last thread, so a bit late indeed.))
"I never gave it. But I'll do now. Name's Wendy. A lot of people here have to use screen names, but the people I arrived here with were from a chatroom where we used our own names."

Ship

"Look, Lieutenant. I recommend you leave this area and follow us back to the central chamber. Ideally, we could get your men back to their ship later, but it sounds like being here is going to be a very bad idea in a moment. Iton, c'mere. I'll help you out."
"If what you say about your portal is true, I suppose we may have no choice but to check it out..."
"Yeah, sorry, REALLY got to go now. Good luck to you all. Ready?"
**Ready**
They both held onto the staff, and with another blinding flash of light, they were gone.

"Yeah, I've always used my own name despite the fact I shouldn't. I think it's because I use it so often on the forum it just works."
Kyle shrugs.
"So... what type of currency is there around here. I'd like to sleep in a bed tonight and I don't if I have cash for it."

"Mostly bartering. Potions are conveniently sized and pretty valuable if they're identified. Ammunition, food, and other supplies are common too. If you need a place to sleep tonight, though, we've got some free beds at the church. Got a few other free shelters around, too."

Zanzetkuken moved and grabbed one of the Draugr's blades.  He then made three gestures to Arc, one pointing to a slab he (Zanzetkuken) could jump to, another towards GLaDOS, trying to get off the intent that he wished to exit in the machine's direction, and a third to have Arc remain silent.  Might be able to use the Stealth Kill, if my cover's not blown.

Arcvasti attempts to convey that he understands by raising his eyebrows.[16] He successfully raises his eyebrows. He then resumes talking to Totally-Not-GLa-Dos.

**I can't actually argue that Bay12 is NOT totally worth it. Is this a prison? How much control do you have over this place? Are you a section administrator or something? The driving force behind this quadrant of the dungeon. Also, how receptive are you to fanfictions about you?**

At this last, Arcvasti pulls out his blank Ouroboros book and opens it.

"Yeah, that'd be great."

(Wish I could make this post longer, but I gtg for a couple hours.)

"Prison. Library. Testing facility. Something like that. I wish I could tell you I was in charge here. But I'm just along for the ride. It's been very interesting so far. I'm not sure you could write a very interesting story in the next mintue, though."

Kyle nods.
"Yeah, that'd be great."
"Right this way."

Zanzetkuken moved back to a ready position, waiting for the time Arc would fire.

(Going to be gone for a couple hours.  See you then.)

Kyle follows along. Not like he has much else to do.

It wasn't very far, as it turned out. Like most things around here, it looked patchwork: the front was made of tree-trunks laid across each other, log cabin style, with a large doorway carved through the middle and a cross carved across the logs above this. Large, strangely uniform stone blocks composed the sides, with gaps for windows filled with metal grates. The roof looked fairly conventional; a double-sided slope made of carefully fitted planks.

There were a few dozen people there, some already inside and others just arriving. Like everything else, they seemed patchwork as well. Mostly because they had oddly-assembled clothing, but others, more so. A woman had her eyes covered by a bandana, a large scar barely visible under the edge of the cloth. A few others had odd features that most likely hadn't been there when they arrived in this world. There was even a horse-sized dragon curled up in the back, too big to fit on the pews, with what looked like a brain in a glass case protruding from its head, a device similar to the wrist ones mounted on the glass.

Up front, at the lectern, stood a red-haired man in a frayed, brown three-piece suit. Wendy pointed to him "That's our pastor up there. Go talk to him about getting a place to sleep."

(Good thing I established that in town that only 30% belonged to the cult, eh?

Also, a reminder from that same post where I mentioned that: the group prior to us came in around 2009.  It doesn't feel like it has been that long, though, as, if you go by in-game time, the very first group came in 3 months ago.  Said that, so as people joining at different times would have the varying levels of knowledge accounted for.  Basically, if were part of the first joiners in the original thread, your knowledge of the real world ends around the end of May, while people who joined at the beginning of this thread have their knowledge of the real world ending around the middle of September, or later.)
