"Ooh, a semi-friendly relationship? kekeke" Shiro chuckles as he examines Marcus' body language, which showed initial hostility before he offered the cake.

The girl had an aura of darkness and the posture had authority and apathy, which went well with her seemingly emotionless face, even her smile seemed void. Shiro could easily deduce the girl was not happy go lucky, especially considering Marcus' initial hostility, which Shiro himself never saw as Marcus was nice to virtually everyone to his eyes. But she followed us here, without hiding her presence.

'A Tsundere, perhaps?' Shiro thought.

"I do enjoy a violent woman." Shiro smiled, smuggling creepily, his shark teeth showing in his grin and his red eyes emphasized due to the black sclera.

The maid job is almost full time, barring school and most of Monday, although it pays very, very well. However, the hirer in question is none other than Pauliina.

Mimu is SUPER confused by this, but goes to see about taking the job. She had a free period in school so she would have time off, and she  wanted some money. Besides, it was her friend hiring, she wouldn't be a bad employer... would she.

Marcus squints his eyes at Shiro.

"Shush."

He plates up a piece of cake, and offers it to Ghislaine.


"Hired. So hired."

"But, Miss-"

"She's hired. No buts."

"...As you wish, Miss Pauliina."

Ghislaine's body posture does radiate authority, but not apathy. Instead she seems more bored than apathetic, though the two are rather close and thus easily confused. She rolls her eyes at Shiro's little joke. "I would hardly call it a semi-friendly relationship. More of one of... mutual hatred."

Ghislaine smirks maliciously, and reaches out with her tail to pat Shiro's head in a condescending manner. Unlike everyone else, Shiro's odd appearance doesn't seem to scare her. Then again she is a demon, so that isn't at all surprise. "You have no idea. Trust me."

He plates up a piece of cake, and offers it to Ghislaine.

"Thank you," she says with forced politeness as she grabs the cake from Marcus. Given how her hands are bound, it's a bit awkward to hold it, but she doesn't seem to care.

Mimu smiles and nods her thanks to her friend.

"When do I start... miss?" Mimu is unsure if that is the proper term to refer to a boss.

"Welcome," replies Marcus with an equivalent tone. "Would you mind telling me how it tastes?"


Cue the glomping.

"So cute~"

"Miss, that is unbecoming t-"

"Klaus, go attend to your business.

Mimu, you can start once you have your uniform on~"

"Okay." Mimu presumably is given a uniform after the hugging is finished, and thus begins cleaning the house... shes very good at this for some reason, though she uses wooden chairs a lot to get to the higher up spots to clean.

"Hmmm? Of course." Ghislaine takes a fork with her tail and cuts a small piece of cake for her to sample.

It's pretty darn good, although a bit rich.

"I think I overdid the icing again..."


Pauliina watches unnervingly most of the time. She looks happy.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Of course you did. Please tell me you aren't thinking of being a chef, you obviously need more practice." She makes no move to take another piece, and it's pretty obvious by the way that she's holding her plate that she isn't going to eat anymore.

Marcus shrugs.

"Well, I can only get better."

Mimu smiles, but tries not to let Pauliina distract her from the job she gave her.

"Is there anything specific that needs doing miss?" Mimu is trying to be very proper and polite, feeling a little silly in the child's Maid uniform...

"Of course." Surprisingly, Ghislaine doesn't add a snarky comment or insult to the end.

"Would you mind telling me your name, woman?..mistress...tail...thing?" Shiro asks. He's first impression of her does not seem to be positive, and her condescending attitude reeked of wealthy and powerful family. Shiro knew a wealthy person when he saw one.

"Mine is Uchigawa Shiro." Shiro chuckles.

Tom slowly shelves his book, and then, after standing around awkwardly for a moment, he walks into the forest for a breath of fresh air, coming near the picnic group.
