"Ah, Bellorophon. You have never failed to provide demonstrations of power. Our Nordic ancestors would surely have cooked this beast and thrown a feast in your honor. Fortunately for us you seem to have done most of that work for us!" Anders let out a laugh that came from deep in his belly.

"Come friends, congratulate Bellorophon on his kill, and share in its bounty!"

In addition to introducing Richard, Ronald, and Bob, dole out cooked Urvogel.

That event just seemed to throw up more questions than answers. What kind of dire situation was this supposed to be? It didn't sound like any sort of dire situation, just a chartering of explorers to investigate some sort of foreign affairs rumor. Or... what did they want to do with the man they found? That supposed prince? (Maximilian didn't subscribe to that theory at all. By the same logic, his youngest sister, an unnaturally white-haired, pale-skinned, red-eyed girl, was related to the ill-fated Porcelain Queen who reigned nearly two centuries ago) Bring him back to his 'father'? Or extortion, or something worse?
The explorers themselves seemed somewhat legitimate in his eyes. Poor personal hygiene was a good sign. Their route was, too, from all that he knew of the outside lands travelling by the land path was nearly suicidal. But, maybe... oh, when had his mood become that bad that he suspected everyone of everything?

Gather some more intel on the explorers. Discreetly. Through dinner table conversation with people that might not hate my guts.

I've seen these creatures skulking around in the shadows, never though I'd catch one, let alone eat one. But desperate times call for desperate measures. All i now need is a fire to burn off the spores from my sword. The middle tree layer is drier than I expected, so I'll gather the firewood there.

Once again, climb the tree and cut off a couple branches. Keep an eye out for dry leaves, moss, poo, bark.

Despite my kill, the meat is still untouched. So let's see if it will attract something else. Using my scimitar is out of question because of these damned spores.

Keep an eye out for another creature/animal, don't attempt to battle large ones though.

A corpse? Bartholomew's fields of expertise do not encompass the study of lifeless bodies, but he is a believer of following his "gut" feeling. His interest piqued, the man's gaze moves to focus on the silver-colored body of the man the knights brought inside and tries to catch any sign of life the physician may have missed - sometimes, a good spark of intuition is better than a professional's opinion on a matter.

Try to ascertain whether the silver man is actually dead through my strong intuition.

>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

"Indeed that would be a journey worthy of our flokk!"

Get Bob to take us to a port where we could acquire such vessels. Determine whether or not anyone has any relevant skills, particularly if Ronald is familiar with the trade routes between nearby ports.

Bellorophon shall go along with the group whilst fashioning a spear-like weapon using the Urvogel Beak and regularly using his Presence to hunt down Urvogel and clear the skies.

Just, uh, wait and see where this goes and whether there's any official clarification.

Time to get a fire started. Unfortunately because I'm clumsy I've lost my spark stone, which makes things quite difficult. However some fellow learned me to make fire using wood only and a string.

Attempt to create a fire using the bow drill method, using found materials.

Let's see if i still got it, stomach is starting to rumble and my scimitar needs to be cleansed.
