Spoiler: Character Info (click to show/hide)
Attack wood fly 3.
[5]With a flourish you leap across the clearing and make a clean cut across the Woodfly.  Just as you do, you collide with something hard and everything goes black. Zertch deals 9 damage to Woodfly 3.
Attack woodfly 3!
You take a chance to get a whack in on the enemy.  [2]You wind up your staff like a baseball bat, close your eyes and swing towards the enemy.  You connect hard with something with a satisfying crunch. Opening your eyes, you can see the Woodfly barely able to fly with it's crippled wing.  You must have done a number on it! Zertch takes 1 damage and falls unconscious.
Attack Woodfly 4!
You were taking some hits, but the wounds just melted away.  You glace briefly over to Cyra before focusing on the fight.  [10]Targeting the last Woodfly, you pierce it through the chest.  It shudders in pain, but doesn't fall. You deal 17 Damage
Attack woodfly 3.
[5]And in comes the cleanup crew.  You strike down an injured Woodfly before it can recover from the last blow it took.  Woodfly 3 is dead.
After twisting the spear, Dahne spun it back up into an offensive stance, spraying some insect guts all over the remaining foes while smiling. Combat was always fun for him, specially now when it involved utterly destroying the enemies.

Strike at the enemy that attacks me this turn, or at least which seems to be intent on doing so.
[7]The last Woodfly can barely fly.  It hardly seems like a challenge, but you gently stab it, and falls as well.  Woodfly 4 has died.  The enemy has fallen.
Shoot Woodfly 4!
Your target dead, you lower your weapon and take a deep sigh of disappointment.  There's always next time, and bigger foes.  Yea!

Zertch groggily wakes up, lying in a field of flowers with glittering beams of light filtering through the treetops.

The bodies of the Woodflies are pretty wrecked, but you could salvage a few wings perhaps.

You are at D3.  The only exit is back out to the East.

"All clear. Sad that it made quite a mess with all the flowers around," Cyra said, checking the rest for injuries as she scanned the area.

What does Chop do? ._. Does it apply in this situation?

((Talking from prior experience here and stuff, Gathering from flowers would probably be a 'Take' action here, so I think chop might not apply in this situation >.> Also I now realise that we have no directly magic based attackers. Time to pick up the various Elemental weapon buffs when I can.))

"Uh.. Thanks.. Cyra?" Bianca gave herself a look down, seeing that she was unharmed despite claws rending at her, eventually giving a small satisfied nod.

Uh. Attempt to salvage any parts that look particularity durable remaining on the woodflys.

Shiloh will merely wait for the party to finish salvaging.

Gather more valuable flowers if there are any still around. If there aren't, wait for the team to get ready to go before returning through the East passage.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Ooh! Take their eyes! Compound eyes are fun. I think.
You take their eyes.  They are very cool looking, but they are fragile and cracked during the battle.  You guess the shock was too much for them.

"All clear. Sad that it made quite a mess with all the flowers around," Cyra said, checking the rest for injuries as she scanned the area.

What does Chop do? ._. Does it apply in this situation?
Shiloh and Maximus have a few cuts, but all minor.  Zertch has a big bruise on what you can see of his face.  You can certainly cure them, but it would be like taking them to the hospital when a band aid would do.  The area is clear for now, but it would not be surprising if more bugs showed up eventually.  It's probably best not to stay for too long.

((Ochita is correct.  Chop is mainly for wood and similar products.  Take is for herbs and stuff.  Anyone can gather materials, but if you are investing points into it I will make it worth the loss of combat ability.  Probably in the form of extra money or rewards.))

((Talking from prior experience here and stuff, Gathering from flowers would probably be a 'Take' action here, so I think chop might not apply in this situation >.> Also I now realise that we have no directly magic based attackers. Time to pick up the various Elemental weapon buffs when I can.))

You pick out three of the wings that didn't have any tears in them.  Gingerly folding them up you put them in hammer space.
Gather more valuable flowers if there are any still around. If there aren't, wait for the team to get ready to go before returning through the East passage.
With the insects out of the way, you collect a few more flowers to get a good bundle.  You decide that's enough and pack it away.  It would be a shame to uproot the whole clearing after all.

Shiloh will merely wait for the party to finish salvaging.
You wipe off your sword and sheath it for now.  Touching your wounds lightly you determine that they are pretty minor.  They would heal up in no time, with magic or not.

((I'll make another post for you guys after work.  I don't have time to work on the map.  Would you like to head further east or to the entrance and west?  It's probably 4PM-ish))

((Gah, I don't have Take in my skills :I Ah well...))

Cyra will wait on Shiloh and follow him.
She in the least glances towards the west [or the opposite direction the party picks to move towards] to make out what's basically in the area there.

"Well! Time to steal flowers!"

Steal flowers. All the cooler-looking ones, preferably. Share the bounty! And then leave with the others.
