"A cabal seems...sounds very unlikely." Cyra said, with more than a hint of dislike in her expression. She looked at the guildmaster for an idea: "May we think about it in our trip in the labyrinth instead? I believe something that we should be reknown by would be better than a symbol born out of pure idealism."
Not that idealism is wrong per se, but purely? It could go into...erh. Creative. Fields.
I mean I could go with Theseus or...wait, Reina? Doesn't that sound like 'Queen' in my tong-
"Um-I mean, the decision on our guild name for later, that is?"
Shiloh shrugged. "Whatever you choossse isss fine with me."
"It would probably be best not to name ourselves presently, I believe. Let there be a temporary name, so that a more deserved one may come later."
"A temporary name? Perhaps... Team Tempo? We can presumably change later, if this will be a temporary name."
Bianca nodded, and shrugged somewhat. "Since it does seem like we all have differing ideas, maybe a temporary name for our guild will suffice, and allow us to get a good idea of a name that suits all of us."
"Temporary sounds good enough. Not very picky myself." the highlander said, leaning on the haft of his weapon and watching the rest of the group's discussion.
Reina looked pretty disappointed at the group's decision.
"Aww, alright. You wouldn't be the first to have name troubles though, and certainly not the last." She scribbles something down onto an official looking card and stamps it with the Explorer's guild seal and hands it to Bianca. Repeating the process five more times, she makes a card for everyone. They each have your name on it as a member of "Team Tempo".
"Well, you're all set. These cards show that you are legitimate adventurers. Shops can sell you adventuring gear now. But most importantly, you are allowed in the Labyrinth. You may want to check in with the Radha, the leaders of Etria. That's up to you though. There's an open mission to 'Find/Eliminate the source of the monster aggression', but beyond that they aren't going to issue missions to new guilds just like that. Oh, also, if you find anything unusual, or particularly dangerous in the Labyrinth, I would appreciate it if you told the Radha or myself. It helps to keep everyone on the same page."She grins and points at the group,
"I wanna hear tales of the great things you accomplish! No excuses! Now go and get 'em! There's still plenty of daylight left to get your feet wet."With your guild cards in hand, you realize that you're pretty much free to do as you please. There are a few shops around, including a blacksmith and an apothecary. There's a few inns to choose from, when you ultimately need a place to stay. The tavern is apparently open nearly 24 hours a day, you could probably find other adventurers willing to chat, or try to get some extra cash from jobs. And finally, the Radha, if you want to deal with boring politics, probably. This is just what is in the plaza area. The rest of the town seems to be residences, but surely some other interesting stuff can be found. By some quirk of fate,
you each have exactly 100 En (Short for Ental, the currency).
((I'm not gonna charge for staying at the inn, it's relatively cheap, same for food/drink, anything that doesn't particularly affect adventuring))
