Then, as if setting for a middle ground between the options he had been considering, he shook her hand for a couple of seconds before turning it expose its back and kissing it - probably only getting his lips to touch the surface of a glove or piece armor.
Bianca coughed awkwardly before hesitantly withdrawing her hand. Hoping that nobody else had really noticed that, she resumed to leaning against the wall, as the highlander conversed with some of the people that she remembered on the way here. Merely deciding to not draw attention to herself until she had gotten a bit more of a rest for her legs. That was until the Highlander forgot to add 'The third' as part of her name.
She glared at the highlander, although from the looks of things she was probably too short for him to really notice her from the current angle she was at.. Nevertheless. She was going to correct Dahne, before the Arbelist suddenly came out with his name, which shamefully completely crushed hers in every way, shape, and form. She slowly deflated, her correction lost in the amazement of that name. "That...That's quite the name.."

Zertch walks towards the explorer's guild slowly, taking in the sights and also whistling.
"Getting registered as an explorer, eh? This'll be interesting..."

Noticing the ninja also heading to the guild, Dahne called out to him. "Hey, we're getting a group assembled and ready before we head in to get registered."

With the newbies of Etria all together, you all funnel into the Explorer's Guild.  As you come in, you pass a pair of intimidating men just leaving.  One was clad in heavy dark blue armor, full helm under his arm.  He had very short brown hair and matching eyes.  He hardly threw a glance at the party as he rudely pushed past.  His companion was... probably male.  He had light cloth pants on, but an armored chestplate?  Getting a good look at his face revealed the truth.  He must be one of those Yggdroids going around.  You could see the seams of his faceplate, and the slight metal sheen of his armored skin.  Coming out of his shoulders were two attachments of a sort that came out and up a little that looked like really strange guns.  As he follows behind, he glares at the party with piercing red eyes.  There's an unnatural glow to them, and you can see some kind of mechanical workings through the tinted iris.  And just like that he turned away and left you with chills going down your spine.

Inside the Hall, Reina was waiting there apparently just finished with the others.  She didn't seem at all disturbed by the pair.  Once they were out of earshot, she cheerfully said, "Oh don't worry about them.  They're part of Guild Karnak.  One of the best exploring the labyrinth at the moment.  As scary as they seem, they've done a lot for the town."

She grabs her book again and sits at the desk.  "You didn't waste any time getting together, now did ya!  It's real important to go through the labyrinth as a group.  It's very dangerous.  Especially recently, some new monsters have shown up on the first few floors that have been picking off lone adventurers.  The mortality rate is one h-..." She hesitates for a moment.  "Lets just say it's very high.  So we have been prohibiting solo adventurers, and prefer groups of 5 or 6.  If you prove you can handle it alone, we can talk then."

"So, I need each of your names, and your guild name.  Anything will do, it's just for recordkeeping, but if you plan on getting famous make it count!"  She gives a wink and smile at the thought.

"Cyra," the Medic nodded. She had preferred others do her talking to the rest if the goals were similar in nature, and was quite acquainted with them purely by observation--Shiloh was more than helpful to cover the gaps that happened, and she was more than thankful that the rest had spoken well in the meeting.

His question before however was an...imposing one. It felt like so, anyway. There was a lot to check out and being separated from the rest took more than a bit of thought--the heat didn't help either. Though now that they were together, their presence cleared up most of the block to the her voice.

"Ah... Zertch. Zertch Nihsa." Zertch considered the second question.
"Guild name? Perhaps... No, I got nothing."
Zertch observed the rest of his companions.

"That...That's quite the name.."

"Well, most of it's the titles for dubious achievements, ma'am. Take away those, and you're left with little Mackay with the giant arbalest, so to speak."

He turns to the guild person.

"That's my name, by the way. Maximus K. Mackay, dubbed Mackay by all except my former wife, my parents and my enemies!"

"But as for a name for the guild? It seems an odd thing to call what is very obviously a party a guild, ma'am. Do we need to pay any dues, or obey any specific laws of our trade if we join, mayhap? Have a percentage of our income donated to certain causes? Be ritually drowned if we reinvent the profession in terms of accessibility and breaking traditions? Or is it more of an inclusive club, mayhap? Are there any employment regulations involved, such as how many journeymen or apprentices are we allowed to send into the labyrinth at any given time? Do we get paid funerals and support for loved ones in the event of disaster?"

"Then again, that's probably mostly for the guild masters to decide, which would theoretically be us, or perhaps not even all of us if we're founding a guild right here! So it's probably in our best interest to get our Adventurous Party Club Guild going before addressing all these questions, in all honesty."

"Very eloquent, too. Though we need a guild name that could...be more oriented to what we stand for rather than any technicality or formality. Symbolism does not wholly rest in sophistication."

Cyra thought of the cross representing medicine. It has such symbolism but...did not actually have the gentleman-ship of...erm.

Parties.

Reina chuckles at the exchange, "All good questions.  You won't directly be a member of the Explorer's Guild, but rather your Guild is.  It's just a formality.  There are no dues.  We are funded by the Radha, who is in turn funded by taxes, paid by the people, who make money primarily off of your business and the labyrinth in general.  There are no special rules you need to abide by.  Just the normal local laws, don't cause trouble and all that.  This whole process is so that we can track who is going into the labyrinth, send help if you stay in unusually long, stuff like that.  The Radha will sometimes offer official missions, but you are certainly welcome to decline.  They pay pretty nicely though, and it never hurts to curry favor."

"So Adventurous Party Club Guild is what you're going with?"
She chuckles as she teases you a bit.

Dahne mostly ignored the two dolts being both rude and trying to be intimidating. And as for the party's name... Though the highlander wasn't exactly the most scholarly or knowledgeable man around, he still decided to contribute. "Since most or at least some of us plan on conquering the labyrinth, how about Dominion?" he offered.

"Very eloquent, too. Though we need a guild name that could...be more oriented to what we stand for rather than any technicality or formality. Symbolism does not wholly rest in sophistication."

"Let us examine the possibilities step by step."

"Firstly, there's animal-inspired names, which I believe should probably be right out, given how silly they tend to be. There's only so many Wolf, Raven, Crow, Osprey, Crocodile and other such names that can exist before the whole thing becomes a little tiring."

"Secondly, there's the practice of taking abstract, non-indicative meaningless words and grafting them together. Hackneyed words like 'Silver' or 'Blades', or 'Songs', or 'Night' or 'Shimmering', or anything of that sort."

"Thirdly, there's taking on a name that represents something we collectively stand for. Given that we only just officially met and collectively stand for nothing at all, except perhaps treasure, which I suspect all of us want, in one way or another, that brings an end to that idea as well, unless the Dada Guild is an appealing name."

"Fourthly, unusual words! The Circuitous Derivative Guild, for instance. Or maybe overly verbose titles, such as the Most Wonderfully Charitable Guild of People Joining the Ruthless Looting, Murder and Pillaging of the Yggdrasil Labyrinth."

"Fifthly, you get the idea! At any rate, the name does not matter at all, as we can have the silliest name imaginable and be deadly nevertheless, or the most heroic name imaginable and die as soon as we step into the job."

"Quite a dastardly name, that. Not that, say, the Karnak Guild is much better, with all the K's and obvious foreign nature and such. Ah, perhaps we can be a cabal, on that note?"

((My most humble non-player advice: You have to name your guild like you would name your rock band))

((Week-long naming debates inclusive!))

"A cabal seems...sounds very unlikely." Cyra said, with more than a hint of dislike in her expression. She looked at the guildmaster for an idea: "May we think about it in our trip in the labyrinth instead? I believe something that we should be reknown by would be better than a symbol born out of pure idealism."

Not that idealism is wrong per se, but purely? It could go into...erh. Creative. Fields.
I mean I could go with Theseus or...wait, Reina? Doesn't that sound like 'Queen' in my tong-

"Um-I mean, the decision on our guild name for later, that is?"
