This person wake up in a place that they know isn't their room. They can't remember what their room looked like (Or much else for that matter), but they know that this definitely wasn't it.
Despite their apparent amnesia, they can half-remember two facts about them. Namely, their name and gender.
What were they again?

I've decided to make a more puzzle-based ISG now that I've learned to use Inkscape. Updates are going to be a little slow in the beginning, due to a combination of me still learning to use the program, having to draw the rooms, and having other things to work on, but they should speed up before too long.

After confirming her identity, Jazz takes a quick look under the bed. It doesn't hide anything, however. While Jazz is at it, she takes a quick look around the room. Aside from the BED, it contains a DRESSER, a DOOR, and an ABSURDLY HIGH WINDOW. Additionally, to the left of the DOOR is what seems to be a CARD READER.



Next, she checks the circle thing under the pillow. It turns out to be one of those weird CYLINDRICAL PILLOWS. Jazz doesn't think you'll find much of a use for it, but she can hold onto it anyways if you really want to.

The first drawer is empty, but the second contains a page that seems to be torn out of the book, titled Book of Shades (Dreamers). In addition, it contains what seems to be a keycard. The third drawer won't open.



Jazz climbs up on the dresser, and looks through the window. It seems to be glazed, however. She tries to open the window to see clearer, and...



...The window, frame and all, comes off, revealing a set of florescent lights hooked up to a battery.

Spoiler: Book of Shades (Dreamers) (click to show/hide)

The first, and most common of those who find themselves lost in this land are the Dreamers. Dreamers are the result of utterly mundane humans who know how to initiate and control lucid dreams, thereby comprising the bulk of all who enter. Dreamers are jack of all trades,  but a master of none. They can fight and shape the world in equal measure, but excel at neither. In time, almost all Dreamers will ascend to another class; in fact, they are unique in that they can ascend to almost any class by some means or another. It is possible to regress back to a Dreamer, but the time and effort involved in doing so is only very rarely worthwhile. There are far too many methods of ascension for Dreamers to recount, but the most common is simply gaining combat experience, with the class decided by what method of combat the Dreamer favored.

These suggestions are so dumb that Jazz has to take a moment and perform a facepalm with her awkwardly small hand.



She grabs the keycard and inserts it in the card reader next to the door. With a soft click, the reader swallows the card, and what seems to be a handle appears in the door. It looks like it's one of those sliding doors.

Jazz then climbs onto the dresser and takes the battery from the lights. The room is bathed in darkness.
