Try to figure out how a clown could be a weapon. Then, use it in some way on the alien.

Find the nearest gunship, grab it, and fly over to provide close air support.

Because if its one thing I cant understand, its why you cant use they skyranger to pin aliums. I mean, hell. Half of the X-com gmaes and similar have armed transports, so why not have gunships?
