Stepping down from his perch and sitting behind the safety wall Steven simply watches tge people coming and going from tge coffee shop while he waits for pigeonface to finish dumpster diving.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Carrie, having spent most of the day tending her wounds, covers up the worst of them and goes on a scouting walk around the neighborhood.

You go out for a pleasant walk, looking for any undesirable elements wandering about. The suburbs, it has to be said, are not typically a very exciting place, and your glimpses into the lives of the residents are rather unenlightening.

However! One interesting tidbit does jump out immediately as you wander along. It's an abandoned house, or so you would think at first. In truth, when you look inside, you observe something terribly unusual. In the basement, a man in a very bulky, seemingly airtight environmental suit (complete with a tank of what might be air) appears to be cleaning up quite a bit of blood and other gruesome fluids. His expression is that of frustration and annoyance. The basement window is conspicuously open.

Alex would get up and walk to his car.

"Well, if that's the way it's going to be," Kibbel sighs as you head to your car.

Stepping down from his perch and sitting behind the safety wall Steven simply watches tge people coming and going from tge coffee shop while he waits for pigeonface to finish dumpster diving.

The people coming and going aren't exactly the most colorful bunch, or particularly numerous. Your bet is that this place hasn't got that much life left in it. It's one of those local joints rather than a franchise, probably got its small roster of regulars. You look upon them for quite a while, then, feeling that sufficient time has probably elapsed, check the skies.

And lo and behold, pigeonface is right up there. You think he's circling the area you're in, probably keeping an eye on you from about eighty meters higher. His dark silhouette flits about in the bright sky, large wings flapping occasionally.

As it happens, the front door's entirely open. Guess the man in the basement figured nobody would come in.

"Look" around for the source of the blood or anything else interesting in the building.

The source of the blood is nowhere to be seen, leading you to believe that these may be the final stages of some sort of cleanup. The house itself is rather bare, clearly having had no occupants for a while. In the backyard a car is parked, and in its backseat is a prodigious amount of transparent plastic sheeting.

Alex would look on his phone to see any updates on the person blowing stuff up.

Who's going to update you? Kibbel was probably about to, and you don't know anyone else who would of their own kind heart.

Deciding on surprise tactics rather than a direct assault Steven waves the man down in the hopes of striking up a conversation.

Pigeonface doesn't seem to care much about your efforts. He's not exactly the sociable type, you've heard. Though he descends a little bit, about twenty meters or so, in the following few moments after you give up.

Alex would text Kibbel.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't there to do anything but apologize, but I'll let you in next time. What do we know about this parahuman blowing stuff up?

Find a knife or something sharp, slash his tires.  If nothing sharp arrives, try a knifehand.

Slightly irritated by the airborne hobo's disregard for his attempt to garner his attention Steven pulls out his gun and makes a show of checking that its loaded before sliding it back in his pants and giving the man a pointed stare.

Alex would text Kibbel.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't there to do anything but apologize, but I'll let you in next time. What do we know about this parahuman blowing stuff up?

Kibbel steps out of the bistro and walks up to you, looking miffed.

"Apology tentatively accepted, and we know he was blowing stuff up at the Friday stadium debacle. Why he was doing that or what exactly happened in there is tough to say at this point, so it's not a lot to go on. Thing is, we know he's active, and Edwardstown isn't very big. So he shouldn't be hard to pin down with a little detective work."

Find a knife or something sharp, slash his tires.  If nothing sharp arrives, try a knifehand.

Hm... sharp. Broken glass is sharp, you guess. And you've always wanted to try something. And nobody's likely to hear, either, especially not the guy in the basement. So you decide on a simple plan, and do a power-assisted punch on the least nice-looking window of the house, producing a whole bunch of handy shards to slash things with.

Your hand, however, did start bleeding in the process. A bunch of lacerations. The amount of blood is, well, not inconsiderable, though it's nothing life-threatening. You'd probably like to bandage this. It hurts a little. It hurts a little more when you accidentally cut your other hand picking up a shard. Now both of your hands are bleeding. Crap. You do a quick look around. Nobody seems to be perturbed in a 50 meter radius... except the basement guy. Damn. You think he heard something. He's going for the staircase to the ground floor. Well, you think. You wait a few seconds in real time and then look again. Ayup, he's coming up.

Slightly irritated by the airborne hobo's disregard for his attempt to garner his attention Steven pulls out his gun and makes a show of checking that its loaded before sliding it back in his pants and giving the man a pointed stare.

Pigeonface, once again, does not appear to object much. Maybe he's just trying to annoy you. Your gun's loaded, though, so that's cool.

((No one, especially someone with infinite time to think about it, should punch glass, they should use their elbow, it's less likely to go through, less likely to cut you to ribbons and more likely to actually do the job, but whatever))

Carrie runs out of his sight range.  Keeping tabs on him and anyone else within her range.
