"Well im not sure id call it a tune but i gotta admit, that was on hell of a chord he struck." responds steven absently as he backs away from the window.

"No shit! Man, am I glad I came over here," your friend says, sitting on the floor. "That was so cool!"

Selina starts at the word intimate, floundering for words for a moment before taking a deep breath and looking down.

"I...I guess... I h-have to be h-h-honest..." She gulps, knowing this would likely be her finally being honest with herself.

"I... I'm a-an extremely d-d-damaged girl who... wh-who was b-bullied in school... I've n-never had fr-friends before, n-never been social... a-and n-never gone on a d-date before... I tr-try to be k-kind a-and caring... b-but I'm shy... and afraid o-of a lot of stuff n-now... Y-you said t-to impress? I d-don't... I can't i-impress you... I r-read, and write, and r-read manga wh-while being... being in the closet I g-guess. Th-thats m-m-me..." Selina looks down at the table, ready to run out of the shop right then and there and curl up somewhere if things went bad now.

Rita pauses for a moment, looking thoughtful, nodding along as you give a rather grim rundown of your being.

"I might be missing something, but what's manga? Sounds kind of exotic," she asks.

"Eh, it was worth a try. Try not to make mustard gas okay?"
Kyle says as he turns towards the door.

He laughs.

"No, no, see, I'm trying to get the rats high," he merely says, smiling and nodding excitedly. You give him a grim nod of acknowledgement, then promptly leave.

Kyle walks out of the house. He pauses once he gets onto the sidewalk.
"God fucking dammit Todd."

Steven resumes observing Ilo's proceedings after tying his shoelaces to the bottom of his char so he doesnt run through the window next time a chord is sturck.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

"God fucking dammit Todd."

The other Todd outside seems taken aback by your sudden stream of expletives.

"What? What did I do?"

"er... j-japanese c-comics... s-s-sorta..." She says slowly, quite confused by this... she had not expected THAT of all questions...

"Oh, do they still make those? I mean, what with Kyushu getting obliterated and all- I mean, of course they probably still make them, I'm an idiot, but... um, what are they like? Grim, nostalgic or what? I'm kind of curious. Or do you just read vintage stuff?"

"What's the fantasy like? Any elves, dwarves, that kind of thing?"

"S-sometimes elves, y-yes... or d-demons and devils... depends o-on the setting..." She looks a little nervous, having been criticized before by people for reading that kind of stuff.

Kyle sighs.
"Not you Todd. Unless you're also trying to get rats high."

He thinks on this for a little while.

"Why would I try to get rats high? Doesn't sound like it would be in my best interest to have rats tripping balls. Unless they're doing that in somebody else's house, I mean. Or maybe in a controlled environment. If anything, I'd like to see a high walrus. Or better yet, a wired walrus. I mean, what would it even do?"

"S-sometimes elves, y-yes... or d-demons and devils... depends o-on the setting..." She looks a little nervous, having been criticized before by people for reading that kind of stuff.

"Huh. No dwarves, then? Just as well, I guess. Can you maybe provide me an example of a setting? This is just weirdly interesting to me."

"That's Todd for you. Without the awful smell at least. How he smell like cat litter without apparently owning a cat I will never understand."

"Well, this is nice and all, but could you drop the walls, I'm hoping to see how these kids react under pressure.  And I was kind of hoping that you would be causing trouble as well."

"Fine... don't go on a murder spree like the last time." Carrie shrugs as the walls fall and she walks away, "Loser."
