There doesn't seem to be much difference between the raws from 40.08 and 40.10.

I think you can just add those stuff manually and it will work.

I'm about to test it.

Hellcannon seemed to be constantly on the verge of death and Levergedon before my turn helped, but ultimately what killed it was Ledi's cat army.

i tried merging this with starter pack. it works, but my tanner has no valid job (tan hide is written in red and selecting it does not produce a job). my loom cannot use the wool from the yaks.

i don't know if this is because i did something wrong, or from the merger, or maybe bugs anyways.

Yep, works fine. I tried most stuff.

Tan job works fine after butchering all my animals. Could it be rotten or mangled bodies?

I can't shear yaks, are you sure you can shear yaks?

You shouldn't be able to shear Yaks, you may have modded your base already. According to wiki:

ah ok thx.

concerning the tanner i found out that the hides i have don't need tanning. i can use them in the leather workshop.

Turns out the missing wood was from having only one z-level of air aboveground, not from the raws.

Is there any way to get just the simplification stuff for 40.12?
I just want to condense grass, plants, rocks, leather, meat, bone, tallow down into single types. The variety is just noise.

I'm hoping to be able to make it work with Starter Pack. Am I better off to just go raw editing on my own?

if I am not mistaken you have to edit every item that drops said items...there is a tag that pretty much says "drop leather of this animal" and you have to change it so they just drop leather...dont remember the exact tags

You download the 08 version, then apply the patch on top of it. It's all automated.

Check material_templates to see if it is FRUIT_TEMPLATE or that incorrect spelling then you will have your answer.
