I recently did some research and apparently new evidence suggests that dogs might have bred themselves into existence.

because yeah, that's where dogs originally came from, wolves that figured out that hanging with people meant easier living.

'Cause seriously. Common knowledge is fine, but when you're asserting something that ain't, it's generally considerate to show where you're getting it from. Socialized adult wolves playing like dogs. A wild wolf dicking around and playing like a dog. Wild wolves playing in a meadow. One and two year old wolves playing.

There's precious few distinctions between wild wolves and domesticated dogs, the primary one being their reaction to humans.

It wasn't even though. A couple of the kittens were annoyed (that's the "no stahp go away" batting), but none of them looked angry or scared. Source: Owned and lived around cats all my life. It's easy to tell when they don't want something near them, and it involves lots of body language that wasn't present there as well as claws-out batting. Cats tend to be annoyed by just about any interaction that isn't purely on their terms, but annoyance is hardly traumatic.

2) Neonatalistic tendencies and appearance
3) Less "Flight" response than wolves.

It doesn't matter to me. It was more that... well... they definitely weren't enjoying themselves. Especially if they decided to roll onto their sides.

Nothing is going to get a "Ohhh how cute! The kittens are miserable!" response from me. I am just not that kind of person.
