Yeah, I never found demon-girls all that attractive, myself.

Calling a demon-girl cute does not equate to calling them attractive. _{^{Also technically Erma is probably a ghost-girl rather than demon-girl but whatever.}}

Because the usual lore on ghosts like those abound in the Philippines--and they're usually always more along the neutral-type instead of a malevolent force of vengeance due to {horrible past misdeeds onto the ghost while alive}.

...I'm pretty unsure how its seen by you all as a demon-girl though. o_O

...I'm pretty unsure how its seen by you all as a demon-girl though. o_O

I want to say that it's because of the Exorcist, which had a girl possessed by demons doing similar things as Erma. Crawling around on walls, turning her head 180 degrees, having her hair dangle over her face... So Western audiences associate that kind of behaviour with demons because we think it all leads back to the Exorcist or something like that.

Or at least that makes sense to me. Whether it's right or wrong I have absolutely no clue.
