Red Skull Gang.
Quick, someone call Captain America

See if we can get financial reports of his increasing guard costs to get an idea how much the bandits are costing the realm and have something to read later. Get on the cart and continue to the capital.

(I meant send the messenger ahead to tell them to prepare reports, not ask him about the country but considering the danger on the roads let's leave that for later.)

The dangers you have faced and your cost analytically mind ponder on the question of Guard costs around the nation as well in this area and are about to send your messenger to ride ahead until you notice that he is leading the carriage that you ride in.

------

Emotions of annoyance wash over you about your lack of control thus far and are dead set on doing something to make a difference. Further down the road you see men in hoods and leather clothes on. Some seem to be wearing red bandanna's with white marks, looked to be done crudely by hand (so VERY crudely what did they finger paint it?) resembling a human skull.

They can't see you and just look at the gaurds walking through with faces of  disappointment obviously wishing there was less security around this caravan. Maybe their not as bravado as bandits of old tales but they sure seem smarter...or maybe they're doing so well they just don't need to gamble.

You continue on to the capital, until you come upon a large stony gate where Samuel, the Messenger simply shows his face to let you in. The gates creak open slowly at first but then faster showing you the familiar capital you visited in your travels. People in a hurry to get to places stalls with lines of people to buy the new needed things, merchants fighting over who can set up where, Guards in teams of 4 walk up and down streets looking for theft and illegal activity, and even some traveling band of musicians playing single string guitars for coin. All familiar until you reach the Castle of the Capital of Bay, Nagga.

You see walls much higher than the first being at least 35 feet tall, with towers around it, and many more gourds patrolling the top of the walls. Once at the entrance to the castle a man yells for your little escort caravan to halt.

Samuel opens the door so you can dismount the cart and stretch your legs a bit. It's not long before a giant in shining armor towers you like the nearby walls do the city, asking for your name and reason to be here.

-------

How do you introduce yourself?

Having a writers block and my gpa is going down by like .30 points as of today. I saw it coming what with my GPA being built by one semester only but i still feel pretty crummy.

PTW

I also don't think we should eliminate the heir; we can befriend her and use her as a figurehead ruler.

Nah, you start with an overly exaggerated high-five that morphs into a handshake, then when you swing your torso back around at the start of a handshake after twisting it with the super high-five you fist-bump his other hand with your other hand.

Nevermind, it is difficult to explain!

I'll be updating tommorow btw.

Other than that I guess I just want to show I still have interest in this game.

you start with an overly exaggerated high-five that morphs into a handshake, then when you swing your torso back around at the start of a handshake after twisting it with the super high-five you fist-bump his other hand with your other hand.

The Gaurd is mightily confused and looks at Samuel the messenger with a puzzled face. Gaurds behind him snicker in disbelief at you and the captain of the gate. The captain just steps aside and lets you in looking at you more objectively before. "Open the Gates!" he shouts and the cranks gear into motion letting the huge doors of the castle swing on open. No is to tell the new regent what she can or can't do...but being respected by more serious people or even nobles in general is going to be an even more uphill challenge.

Samuel and the escort walk inside with you and he points you to the double doors inside a castle. "That castle yonder will be were you eat, sleep, and work for the few years until our princess is old enough to take control. Servants will do what they can to make you comfortable, just watch out for the cook. I hear giving him critique on his food is one way to have something foul in your throat. I'm sure you be smart enough to handle it though."

------

You are saluted by a Guard giving his name as Gerald, announces himself and bows.

"Madam, the servants will be getting your luggage and room prepared right now I've been ordered to show you to the Court floor. Haste makes waste but we must be up there quickly." Before you can even offer protest he turns away and up more stairs motioning you to follow him and as a gentleman offers his hand. Which you take while being dragged another 2 flights of stairs or so before being led through a hallway and into what you think is the Court floor.

4 man stand in front of a desk talking about policy before they notice you.

"Ma'am these are your ministers".

One man in a blueish red uniform military uniform calls himself Bellhook. "I Manage the affairs of the Military as Grand Marshall and advice you on matters of National security."

Another steps forward, this man fat with a goatee and balding head calls himself Jacob "I am the master of the crowns coin. I'm in charge of collecting taxes and giving you reports on the well being of the economy, Regent."

Following him is a older gentleman who looks ready to fall over, "I am Brunos, External affairs minister and i deal with those uncivilized brutes causing all kinds of trouble. Just now they-"

He is interrupted by a chubby lady with pale skin " Introductions first minister, Even though you've been here for years it doesn't mean you can stop someone from introducing themselves to a central figure like the Regent. I am Delia, Minister of the Interior. I manage the Police and Anti-corruption task forces tracking criminals and fraud wherever possible. I think everyone has a piece to say but i think i'll let the old man give you the summary."

Frustrated but not at the breaking point of losing his professionalism Brunos tells you about the latest issue. "The Federation and Imperium are rumored to be using forced conscription in the old Annotan Confederacy. It's causing an even larger amount of immigrants asking for entry into the country. While normally the late prince would have left them in...we just don't have the space as we once did. Most immigrants run out of food within days of entering the country and begin joining gangs or stealing for food.

What's more is the Federation is asking for even more Ragnite to help fuel the war effort against the imperium, again. Our own Military is also in need and it would be unwise to support an enemy as snake eye as them..even though those Imperials are just bloody merciless. I hear there Blood Legion soldiers are training boy soldiers now to be suicide bombers.

What's worse is that whoever wins will most likely dominate the region..and will ask for even more at less price
."

The Marshall speaks up "Currently, no is able to confirm any of the stories the refuges say to beg for food but we felt it necessary to speak with you about it. Actinon or no action Regent it's up to you."[/i]

First decision and i can't wait until you guys come up with one. As you can see the hand holding has stopped and this game is going to play out a lot more like Hidden agenda...although there is more to show. Just not now. Now you figure out what to do if anything. There's also the bandits roaming in the country side that you all wanted to know about.

Should we put who we're talking in the colour they are?

Marshall, I want a rundown of our current military strength. I want to know our troop numbers, what they are equipped with, training levels, the strength of the naval arm and fortifications of the nation if any. I also want reports on both both the UFS and Imeriums current fighting strength.

Coin master, I want reports of the current tax levels, how much is currently in the treasury, current and possible production of the land, the size, state of the merchant fleet and current expenses.

Interior Minister, I want to know the current feelings on the populace, are they fearful or hopeful for our survival if war should break out, do they support a particular side or none at all. I also want to know if their are any possible corruption in the administration of this country and a report on the bandits possible strength.

Exterior minister, I want refugee camps set up near the border to accommodate the current influx of refugee. These camps will house the refugees until I have a better idea of what to do with them. I want to know the current opinion of us by both the Imperium and UFS, their current requests of us and past requests of this nation.

Also...maybe glow isn't such a good color?

Also this is a medieval world with the pre made building blocks for political organizations. My fault for not writing up this world all that well.
