Project 0005: Project Lackluster
Classification: Vehicle
Goal: Use the BMP chasis as a basis, convert the BMP into a mobile railgun platform with our prototype railgun weapon at its heart, the main objective of this  project is to create the BMP-R Mark 1 to serve as a recon and heavy sniper vehicle. Its main purpose will be long range recon with support, and annihilation of important targets from a distance unseen.

In that case, we're probably heading a bit to far into the future. Anyway.

Modular Teletank

A small, nimble yet dangerous main battletank, this tank relies on the newest technologies to defeat it's enemies.

1) No crew. Greatly reduces size, cost, and weak points. Instead the tank is commanded like a drone.
2) Carbon fiber based plating reduce weight to a mere 25 tonnes.
3) modular design makes upgrading easy, allowing for weapons and power systems to be switched at will.

carbon fiber brittle, fails the grenade test, power full shock waves shatter it.

By starting from scratch it is fairy easy to motorize an entire tank, by fitting it with a dozen digital cameras the crew can be reduced to a single remote operator. and with no need to house a crew inside the tank, you have much more freedom to place parts.

After a week of work, you hit the first problem, the carbon fiber parts shatter and brake apart during the shock wave test.
With the carbon fiber replaced with aluminium you have a working prototype. 

The prototype boosts a shallow domed roof with multiple small turrets sicking out of it.

Crossover research between cyber pigions and modular teletanks, an advanced version of the teletank uses an enhanced pigeon to control it, allowing for functionality even in the event of a signal jamming.

You try to get pigions to control a tank, but they have no idea what there doing at all and just sit there picking at keys and leaving crap on your seat.

The mini bomber is only flor the extremely brave - it is armed with a small 12mm machinegun and 4 40 kg HE bombs, it is build of cheap, light metal (aluminum?), one man per plane, 1 standard and 1 jet engine.
Work on the duel engine plane is soon at the prototype stage.

It is easy to build and fit a rail to a BMP's chassis, but passenger seats have to be removed to fit the battery.
But even with the new massive batterys there limited to a under a dozen shots a per charge.

Useing a complex array of mirrors, lasers, high definition screens and lens you manage to build a short range holograph projector, the images seem flat and can only be show a limited number of angles.
The system is both too bulky to fit on any thing smaller than a truck and needs huge amounts of power to operate.

Useing number 3 birdshot you mange to load 30 pellets in to a stranded 7.62x39mm round.

It's not a simple task to build an unmaned plane, the entire control system need to be re-routed and set up for remote control.

The remote control system is both a blessing and a curse, on one hand pilots can preform acrobatics that without concern for the g-force invoved.
On the other hand the remote control system is prone to lag, which leaves the planes helpless against attack.

After a few late nights you manage to get the pigeons to pick at the ultraviolet flares.
At the cost of much of your patience and to many bottles of the local garlic brandy, finally you manage to get a pigeon to use the weapons with out panicking, it has not got the idea of friends, it just attacks every human it can see.

You have no luck at all in getting one to drive.

- Let's see how far the construction guys have processed with out bombardment rail gun

- See if we can get carbon-ceramic mixture for the Teletank, to use as the primary armor plating. Should be both lighter and stronger than aluminum.

- Module design for the Teletank
      - Twin 40 mm railgun module
           - Weight : 250 kg
      - Capacitor Module
           - Weight : 250 kg
      - Fuel cell Module
           - Weight 500 kg

- Oh, and work on a Flying Wing bomber/ Mothership.
          - Length: 30 meters
          - Wingspan : 80 meters
          - Empty weight: 100 tonnes
          - Max Take-off weight :  250 tonnes
          - Engines : 4* Turbofan 100kN each

          - Weaponry : Variable^. Up to 35 000 kg.
                  - Carrier configuration : 8* Minibomber
                  - Bomber configuration : 30*Ramjet missile
          - Speed: 0.75 Mach

The idea is that this vessel can serve as a stealthy flying airbase, allowing lag free communication with our drones and the ability to launch our

Work on the rail gun is finished, currently your still waiting for the bunker to be finished, it is scheduled to take another 3 months. 
- See if we can get carbon-ceramic mixture for the Teletank, to use as the primary armor plating. Should be both lighter and stronger than aluminum.

Useing advanced ceramic fiber reinforced ceramic, you have a light weight replacement for the aluminum.
Work on the rest of tank modules is simply a case of adapting existing designs to fit.

Adapting the pigeons is risky but you start the project, hopeing to enhance there minds genetically.

modify the AA tank to use the flak round as anti infantry explosive round.
Make a flak that explode on impact rather than after certain time and mod the take to have lower and 360 firing angle.
