...and with the new version of DF, you can go and tell him, that it all was inevitable.

It is terriyfying.

Wow, it's really awesome that Dwarf Fortress could generate a story as interesting as that one. Could you upload the save file for the world?

Shosá'S children might be dead, but were they survived by any children of their own?

I want to tell you they were bad men, cephalo.  I want to tell you that with a better overseer the Fortress never would've gotten so bad someone would get offed in a pointless fisticuffs.
But the sad truth charlie?
It was inevitable.

DF's ability to create countless, and yet pretty interesting and deep stories is truly amazing.

Very nice story.

What happened to Shosá's sister? Did you look into that?

Oh yeah, I didn't notice that. Although when I replied, it was already revived.

Anyway, why do people care about that stuff anyway? So an old thread is commented on again... if it's no longer of interest to a particular user, as far as I'm concerned, that user can just ignore the thread, same as for any other thread. I never understood that 'rule' in many fora.

I think this story deserves some praise - it is a very fine example of just how deep DF can get, and what kind of stories it can tell. It is like reading a good novel sometimes.

There's nothing wrong with that, I think, although given a pretty long time since the first post, it is quite unlikely that you'll get a response from OP.

Yeah, that's true enough. Ah well :)
