What's wrong with liking Scrin? I found them interesting and I liked their 4 mission mini campaign. I liked the way infantry were in squads in tiberium wars not individual units but honestly I prefer red alert 2 (conscript army).

I liked Generals the most. The GLA or whatever the faction was named was by far the funnest one I have played in a C&C game so far.

4:30AM, September 2, 2030
GDI Space Station Philadelphia
Command Level

The massive station, constructed in the wake of the first Tiberium War, acts as the central command for all GDI forces.

The main floor of the situation room is packed with rows of consoles manned by hard working GDI techs. The main wall is dominated by a large main screen that displays an approximated map of the zones.

The general, a black man with short, scratchy salt and pepper hair and a demeanor stiffened by pride and old age, is bent over one technician's console. The two men are bathed in a soft, yellow glow that flashes to the staccato beat of explosions in the background, and the faint sound of gunfire constantly emits from the speakers. A dark-skinned man whose face is covered in grime and blood shouts desperately into the feed.

This is base commander Talbert reporting! A number of enemy craft..itting us all over the place! They..by surprise! All GDI forces..been destroyed! Send reinforceme-

The video cuts to static. Solomon straightens and mutters something to the tech before turning stiffly on one heel and walking towards the elevator.

---

This portion of the setup is suggestion. You're an experimental unit of experienced GDI infantry.

Unit Name:
Type: Light Infantry (maximum mobility with no reduction in firepower or armor), Shock Troops (better starting weapons and increased toughness), Hunter-Killer (bonus vs vehicles and cyborgs), Recon (great at stealth movement and concealment), Cavalry (deploy with light vehicles or by air, but usually don't carry heavy equipment)
Sub-Unit: Engineers (repair equipment and access master control terminals) OR Medics (heal units and cure tib exposure)
Project Goals: What is the goal of the experiments being conducted with your unit?
Interesting Flavor Text: Anything else notable about your unit!

Hang on, let me ask James Earl Jones.

Spoiler: ... (click to show/hide)

Uh.. Hi Jimmy, erm..

Say, the players were wondering if they could be Nod.. Is that cool?

Spoiler: ... (click to show/hide)

He said no.

Unit Name: 7th Rapid Insertion Group, "Past Blasters"
Type: Cavalry (deploy with light vehicles or by air, but usually don't carry heavy equipment)
Sub-Unit: Engineers (repair equipment and access master control terminals)
Project Goals: ? (I'm not familiar enough with the Tiberium C&C universe to answer this.) Maybe testing to see if Tiberium exposure can be handled by keeping men in shielded vehicles or suits?
Interesting Flavor Text: Managed to drive off a contingent of Nodsmen five times it's size by utilizing hit&run ambush tactics with skeleton crews in jury-rigged vehicles to make it appear as if they had much, much greater numbers than they did.
Very peculiar commanding officer, tends to have the quirky individuals in it, due to the nigh-suicidal missions they often get, and always make it through by the skin of their teeth and a whole lot of duct tape.

Unfiltrate? You mean infiltrate, right? If so, I'm all for this.

That small size was intentional.

It was an emergency radio transmission in the midst of combat.

It's Nod or nothing. (for me at least, nod at the other Nod supporters in the room and launch a coup)
