I felt insanely bored, so I decided to fuck with google translate. Put some lyrics into it, then translated the song to Russian, then translated into at least 15 languages, such as Albanian, Estonian, Filipino, Japanese, and Kannada, then back to English.

Here's the final product:

Also, how about a thread where people post songs after they were put through Google Translate multiple times?

EDIT: removed code tag, since it doesn't shows up properly.

Could make it a forum game. "Name that badly butchered song!"

A good idea, but there should probably be a rule about how many times the song needs to be translated back and forth. Otherwise, it'll be an unrecognizable mess.
Three, maybe five times, would be okay.

Is that meant to look like Mark Hamill?

....reading an LP of a visual novel?
Can’t you just read Umineko straight up and skip the middleman?

Yeah, but VNs don't tend to mock themselves openly. That's what you need the LP for~

Huh, I literally just finished reading that exact same LP five minutes ago. Spooky.

Reading through the LP also gives you access to what other people were talking about as they read it. Because the answer to the central mystery is never directly stated and I take everything shown to me at face value, I never actually figured out what was going on in the real layer when I read it on my own. Reading other people's theories and reactions was pretty enlightening.

I might be reading it in a different place. The Let's Play Archive

It's nice for a straight up jaunt through things without having to go through lots of posts, though, in this case, I don't think I would mind seeing the crazy theories others come up with since it is essentially a mystery game.

I highly recommend reading through the posts in between, at least after you've gone through the whole thing by yourself. Its a much different experience and I found it quite illuminating.

My man!!

I like mysteries and screenshot LPs (Princess Maker, anyone?) so I'm definitely checking that out.  Looks like the LPer did the sequel too.
