If you were being cheeky there m8, I missed it, sorry. (
Did you check who you were quoting?
Yeah, that's why I said it, actually. There was nothing to suggest cheeki breeki behaviour, but I suspected it anyway.

Some of those wikipedia funnies are actually funny. "Alien Sideboob" indeed.

Found a brief but amusing list of Wikipedia editor's greatest shames:
Quote
Ed Poor for the Boldness award
On 1 August 2005, Ed Poor, one of Wikipedia's most experienced editors, boldly decided to delete the entire VFD deletion process, which briefly disrupted editing sitewide as the servers tried to keep up. The whole episode is described in the Signpost article "Deletion deletion".

Steven Walling for the I'm the scapegoat of the WMF award
On August 2, 2012, a WMF staff member "accidentally told the network to refuse traffic from the entire world, and the network did as it was told". Apparently, "someone was trying to block a specific IP and well, blocked the world". Oliver Keyes and Erik Möller elected to throw Steven under the bus, stating that Steven has been declared the cause of all problems and that Steven definitely did it.

Maxim for the "Doesn't do anything anyway" award
Who managed, on 3 February 2008, to delete the Main Page, because someone (who is not in the stocks) told him it could not be done. He nobly confessed all at AN/I. Moral of the story: Don't delete the main page.

east718 for the "It seemed like a good idea at the time..." award
Who used an unapproved bot to add over 1200 useless revisions to the main page to try to make it undeletable for curious individuals. He failed to hit the necessary 5000-revision mark, but did succeed in taking up lots of time and server resources.

On the topic of too meta:
Quote from: Lamest edit wars
Editors then took to the talk page and began hurling profanity at each other as they discussed whether the essay contained valuable advice about civility.

Playing Pokemon Sun, there's an in-game trade with an NPC, Haunter for their Alola Graveler. Before trading, I put an Everstone on Haunter.

Also, Alola Golem has a frickin' railgun on its back. Made of rocks. And it has an awesome beard and mustache made of what looks like magnetite.

Playing dragons dogma again, out in the hills near the coast and a wyvern swoops around overhead. Then it starts ascending slowly using that same idle in place flying animation. Eventually, it gets so high I can no longer see it from the ground. Then it dives into the nearby ocean, never to be seen again.
I was also fighting an elder ogre in bitter black isle, on a bridge. The thing fought us for ten minutes, took a lot of damage. Then it turned and faced the side, and jumped right over the railing of the bridge as if it fully intended to do that.
A poison undead also walked right off the same bridge not too long beforehand.

Its amusing, seeing little AI dumbassery like this. I was looking forward to killing that wyvern, but I guess if they give up and commit seppuku instead of fight the arisen that's technically a win. Didn't get the experience for it, sadly.
