Video game bots randomly bring up the games their subreddits are about. Political bots make posts mostly constructed from buzzwords. Hobby bots spew nonsense compilations of jargon. Some of them, like dadjokes and subreddit-drama, just post utter nonsense.

It's like a microcosm of human subculture as interpreted by a computer.

Also if we get Bay12 Simulator I call dibs on being one of the bots.

Holy crap /r/dwarffortress is simulated.

I like the idea of what to start doing, not what you meant by your tittle. Colonies will slowly spawn over time, and you can only shear them every couple of months, just to satisfy their thirst.

I haven't seen an actual bot on here in the longest time. The kitchen bots were like locusts at one point though.

Plus a few bots selling fake IDs.

And one selling black magic and mind control, with a footnote saying that they will only use their powers for good.

I found the dwarffortress bot on there.

The only time I ever used a DFHack command called forum-dwarves that saves the description of each screenshot I'm taking to show you patrol paths or fort layouts.

That... sounds useful, actually.
