I'm reading through Atlanta Nights. This is absolutely hilarious. Just summarizing the novel can't capture the inanity of the book. A doctor is afraid he'll put his "hypocritical oath" at stake. The writer of Chapter 10 never uses the same adjective twice and describes a woman's dress as "carroty". An entire chapter is focused on two guys ordering food from a waiter and making small talk while one of them "rubs his pepper and salt beard and brushes backs his close trimmed hair" every five seconds.

I think I have a new favorite book.
I suppose it's my duty to point you this way.

Was reading an article on the new flipwalkers, and there was this genius quote:

Thank you sir, may I have another. - Chip (also, what Magic players say to Wizards when they open a Jace, Vryn's Prodigy in a booster pack).

Can't open YouTube right now--long story--but I'll take it that's a dramatic reading?

Thought it would be his. I like his readings of the laugh-a-minute fics like My Immortal and Light and Dark, and the fact that he made up for the dullness of My Inner Life by adding in puns and jokes constantly, but I usually read fast enough that it's more enjoyable to read sparser stuff like Atlanta Nights on my own.

Well, except for Chapter 34. Chapter 34 is funny no matter how you do it.

I wonder if litterbox illiteracy is a common thing among cats? I remember mine used to poop in their food.

They seem to get it much better if mommy showed them how to use it when they were kittens.

Speaking of, the ping kittens think they can climb over the cinder blocks keeping them under the bed and the dogs out. Unfortunately, it won't be long before that's actually the case, which will make keeping them safe much more difficult

Our cat doesn't really use the litterbox. He just poops outside, somewhere.

At least it's your cat doing it. My neighbor's killed a bird on my porch today and apparently the bird shat itself in fear because the mangled corpse was lying in a decent-sized puddle of its own waste.
