And I'm not sure it's effective as a tool to get into a relationship. In War Thunder ground forces, you can call down artillery on a position. This can kill aircraft, both friendly and enemy, if they fly into it (which they do).

If you get your own aircraft damaged by it (this can just be by flying near when it hits) and damage yourself, this counts as killing a separate teammate. Hence messages like AseaHeru(Hurricane) has been killed by AseaHeru(T-80), while uncommon, are possible.
