[Dwarmin]

Relic signals the group to stop. When they don't she jumps up and down to get their attention.

"Everybody stop! There's something weird ahead of us."

Action: Suspicious, how?

[Take 20 + 2] Roughly halfway down the hall, you locate a trap, triggered by a tripwire. It seems to have the intention of shooting a bunch of needles at whoever trips the wire, which seems... painful.

[Dwarmin]

Relic points down at it.

"It's a triptrapwire! If you trap...trip...trap yourself over it, you'll get shot full of...with needles. Probably dirty ones."

[Nerjin]

"Well, why don't you go and disarm it then? If we have to come back this way it might go off."

[Dwarmin]

"Uh, okay. It might set off other things, though...be ready..."

Action: Warn everyone to stand a fair distance away, then plink the wire with my arrows.

[Tawa]

You shoot at the tripwire, and a large number of dagger-sized needles fire from cracks in the stone and clang off the wall. You collect your thankfully undamaged arrow.

[Nerjin]

"I'll be honest... I'm almost insulted at how easy that was. You seem pretty good at spotting traps though. You should probably go first so the rest of us don't block your vision."

[Flying Dice]

"Aye, good eye. I'd not fancy picking little needles out of my arms." Take second place in the party lineup.

[Dwarmin]

"Well, I told you so. Elven eyes! Very useful!

...Also, be careful, because if there's one easy trap, sometimes there is another really hard trap right after it. You see one, defuse it, and get confident, then *CLAMP*!

At least, that's how my Dad told me to set up traps!" She said, feeling proud.

"Aye, good eye. I'd not fancy picking little needles out of my arms." Take second place in the party lineup.

"Usually, the needles don't do that much damage-they tend to have poison on them, though..."

Action: Onwards, ho! Front line! Be on the lookout for more traps.

[Rolepgeek]

Ness picks up one of the needles as they pass, blunting the edge a bit on some stone before wrapping it in any cloth handy and stuffing it in her pack. They were pretty big, and maybe they could do something with them later?

[Tawa]

Not far past the needle-trap, around a bend, you encounter a room. An empty, dull room, with not much inside; there are some broken wooden planks in a corner that could have been furniture in ages past. There appears to be nothing else of note.

[Dwarmin]

"This room is empty and dull, I don't think there's much inside..." Relic commented, poking her way forward.

Action: Check under the planks with my halberd. Poke poke poke.

[Tawa]

Nothing.

[Dwarmin]

Relic wished this room didn't exist, but she assumed it had a purpose that was not apparent.

Still, it  was time to move on.

Action: Onwards, I guess!

[Flying Dice]

Beolas briefly wonders why Relic was so interested in bits of rubbish. He shrugs and follows her some more.
